Mine has to be James Butler when he sucker punched Richard Grant. I have to say Mayweather vs Ortiz was a controversial one too.

Insane that played out in back to back fights. Ol Terry just couldn't help himself. He tagged Curry when he was down. Real early in career he blatantly wound up and hit Joe Walker in the back of the head when he was down on knees. The guy flipped over like a fish outta water.

Norwood v Gainer was a train wreck of a fight and Norwood could be a dirty dirty dude. Shame because he was a top notch boxer. Seem to remember billy goat Agapito Sanchez making a mess of Manny in all the wrong ways. Didn't he intentionally tape scrap him across the face a couple times? Bowe sucker punched Mathis Jr while he was down on one knee and should have been DQ'd but instead all the officials huddled ring center, chased to cameras away and crooked Bowe a NC even after the ref ruled it deliberate.

Norris and Golota share the same double deja vu disquals. Neither could help themselves fouling. Never saw anything like it. Golota and Norris, same fate.

Most subtle/trick foul was Hopkins headbutt/grinding his head into the eye of Winky. A replay shows Hop giving a smirk.


Pavlik wanted to nutshot Hop via instructions from his corner, but he manned up and just grazed his nuts as a result.

To this day I am still on the fence with Abraham vs Dirrell.

I was around 8th row & it looked blatant, but watching it on tv...I can't say.

More comes to mind, I'd have to say my boy Salido knew what he was doing against Lomachenko. Hopkinesque like fouls, he knew when to and not to.

Larry Holmes was known for being a clean fighter, but I think he intentionally shot past Carl 'Truth' Williams eye -in order to lace him- to which he did an cut Williams 'eye.

Post fight Carl confirmed the suspicion be stating he had the faster jab- but Larry had the more experienced jab.

And in one of the fights with Bruno, Tyson landed a nasty elbow before a knockdown. Blatant.

My alltime favorite foul-fest fight is Hopkins vs Echols II. Bothguys did everything but bring the prison shenk into the fight

28:25 into the fight Echols almost does a literal body slam. Echols tell the camera Hop is faking ya'll LOL! To my surprise Hop literally fought the whole round with one hand -it was a masterpiece!!!!

Then he does some type of a move, where acts like he popped his arm back into place. Laughable. I bought it because he did something rare- got on his bicycle, but he threw that left every whichaway,. Jab was piston fast,, head movement, bobbed & weaved landing body & head shots, tripling up the left hook. (2:29 left in 6th round for anyone who wants to see. Next round it is miraculously healed- Hop had a 64% connect rate in round 7. entertainment at its finest

7th round Hop got point deducted for holding & hitting.

For you guys who didn't like the shot Floyd landed against Ortiz, Hop did the same think to end the Echols fight.

Nothing says mental like a World class boxer having shorts attached to his heavy bag as a reminder not to hit in the bollocks.

Bowe Golota is right up there.
