ive only ever heard lewis analyse once and that was on sky 15 years ago when tyson fought ruddock. based on that and what ive heard from big george then lewis is by far the better analyst
Foreman doesn't get too technically analytical - he's obviously someone who could be a great trainer, and he speaks common sense. Not exciting as a commentator but cuts right through the fluff to the ground-level point that makes sense. I always kept my ears open whenever he was calling a fight to hear what he had to say. As opposed to Larry 'and there's blood under the left eye of' Merchant, for example. Always looking for that first speck of blood, Merchant is.
lewis is probably a better boxer until foreman taps him on the chin at which point it doesn't matter.
Foreman ko 8.
Uh, oh, it wasn't about that, sorry.
Lennox just is not a public speaker and maybe should look into writing or training or more practice speaking publicly.
George on the other hand was a great commentater but HBO's Jim and Larry had him him booted out according to some chump writer named Jim Ryan of Ring magazine who applauded the action.
Roy Jones was getting pretty good too though he did talk and brag bit to much about himself.
The dream team would be Shaun O'grady, George Forman, Manual Stuart, and Teddy Atlas but could a group this head strong really work together?
