Default JC Chavez is fooling us all

His record is fantastic with 25 wins and 19 KO's

He is indeed and likely to be the second coming of his father based on his record............................................ but

How come on all his fights, i can't even see any notable boxers on the list.

The Hartman fight shows how bad the boxers they are pairing for this kid.

It's time to face real competition, and Chavez has a lot of good boxers to choose.

Let's not be fooled again in watching this kid fight patsy fighters

    Travis Hartman W TKO 3

    Ryan Maraldo W TKO 3

    Leroy Newton W TKO 1

    Jose Cruz W TKO 2

    Eliseo Urias W KO 2

    Sheldon Mosley TKO 5

    Mike Walker TKO 1

    Miguel Angel Galindo UD 4

Jose Luis Huerta W TKO 2

    Antonio Aguilar W KO 1

    Arturo Ocampo W KO 2

    Oisin Fagan 136 W UD 4

Bring in the sad clicks from Chavez patriots, but your boy needs to fight real boxer

Good point. I dont remember anybody fighting this deep into their career and still fighting 6 rounders. Honestly, he doesnt impress me, and I doubt he's ready for some real comp. But enough with this 6 round crap, already.

Mr nightmare, i thought it was just me who observed this. I don't know how long they will try to mold this kid and be given real competition.

I know he is still very young but Juan La Porte wins his belt at 18

who's he fooling, everybody knows he's not fighting anybody, nobody think's he's that good yet

It doesn't bother me, he didn't have much of an amateur career and he's still young, he's pretty much just having his amateur career now. He won't step up for a while probably.

And who cares that his dad fought a lot of no hopers early, he did step up eventually and when he did he fought the best and beat most of them.

I'm not a fan but I don't see why it bothers anybody what he's doing. Who cares?

Say what you want. But when you're 25-0, you shouldnt be fighting 6 rounders anymore.

I second that, at 25 fights with and awesome win-loss ratio, JC Chavez Jr. should not only be fighting 6 rounder.

He should be fighting for a world title.

He's had 25 fights andfought what? 60 rounds? 45 rounds? That's what counts. In the old days it was nothing for a guy to have 35 or 40 4,6or 8round fights over 2-3 years. Experience. Chavez Jr is 20 or 21? Another 2 years of fighting every couple of weeks will suit him fine.

Julio Cesar Chavez Junior is 20 years old, not very strong for a welterweight, and not very quick either. He is technically very sound both on offence and defence and has the trademark left hook to the body that his father had. He also seems to have a decent chin, also no surprise because of his father's chin. In any case, he's being brought along carefully, fighting 6 rounders against decent fighters but not world class ones. Personally I think that his management is doing the right thing. What's the hurry?! If he was 27 or 28 years old I would say the same thing, that he should be stepping up by now. I'll bet that he gets stronger and faster over the next 3 or 4 years, and only then starts fighting the big boys with top 10 rankings.

We all remember Mike Tyson being a muscular, dangerous guy at only 19 years old, but Mike was a very rare exception. Lennox Lewis was a skinny, undeveloped fighter at that time, someone who wouldn't have lasted a full round with Tyson, but look what he became! Most guys don't reach their peak boxing strength until they're in their mid to late 20s. A few exceptions don't change the general rule.

I think it's "WHEN" and "HOW" he steps up that matters. but the chavez that fought Molina is going nowhere fast.
