Honestly comes down to the eye test here. Visible effectiveness as Parker lands nice to body, a couple upstairs but zero impact on Joyce. Meanwhile Parker is stumbling and head snapping back etc. Barley may have edged 9th though. 6-3

Ha Parker with 4 clean six inch lefts at the bell, looked good but Joyce had the substance of the 10th for me.
Joyce on top of Parker who is landing the eye catching punches in the 10th.
Do not let success go to your head and do not let failure get to your heart.
Joyce knocks out Parker in the 11 th. Brutal and relentless.
Do not let success go to your head and do not let failure get to your heart.
Joe Joyce is the real deal.
Do not let success go to your head and do not let failure get to your heart.
That was quality focus and execution by Joyce. Figure the slow as a dinosaur talk can cease. He really ground Parker down smartly and closed emphatically. Big brass on Parker but he just couldn't dent the man. Fun scrap.
ESPN really knocking production values out of the park last 24 hrs though, no volume again![]()
That's pretty good, parker is fairly tough, doubt fury will want Joyce and usyk doesn't seem that interested in taking on anyone excepyfiry and wilder so I guess he'll just have to force his mandatory status and take a vacant title fight.
Joyce did what Joyce does. He's a winner, always has been. Aesthetically pleasing maybe not but fuck me he sucks the oxygen out of opponents like no one else. That was a brutal beatdown. Despite the BT bods trying to convince it was competitive.
When God said to the both of us "Which one of you wants to be Sugar Ray?" I guess I didnt raise my hand fast enough

He's a big lad too, he doesn't look fat at 270+ lbs, that's also impressive...he's maybe the only competent guy in fury's weight class(as in not a fatty at 270), I doubt we'll see that fight but it's be a pretty good match up.

Man this Joyce is a scary dude.
Slow as molasses. He punches like he's underwater but he hits like a mule kick for 12rds. He’s like a HW Froch. Poor technique, makes various fundamental errors, easy to hit but he has a granite chin, incredible toughness, a great engine and carries his power late into a fight.
People who don't watch heavies must have an impossible time comprehending Joyce as a fighter.
Joyce might be the first fighter in history that has an opponent's corner throwing a towel in after their guy fkin nails him to the max and nothing happens.
He's just quite scary.
He's getting banjo'd with everything. Then you see the other fighters between rounds sucking up air, meanwhile Joyce isn't even breathing. It's nuts.
He’s a problem for anyone who relies on blocking shots instead of slipping them. His shots are just too heavy and he'll break ya down whether you parry them or not. His jab on TV looks like nothing because there is no real snap. In reality it's absolutely, utterly and completely f.ucking people up.
Future fights ?
He’s all wrong for Joshua. He’d test everything Joshua lacks. Stamina, durability, punch resistance etc. Very tough fight for AJ
Usyk and Sanchez and Fury have the style to handle him but none of them are Muhammad Ali. I think he'd give all three of them a hard fight (maybe even beat all three) because Joyce is a volume puncher. He'd be in their chest all night long throwing punches.
A fight between him and Wilder would have to come with a parental warning. Wilder either KO's him or gets beaten to within an inch of his life.
This is the fight I'd want to see. Yes Joyce has a great chin but for me to put him in the Oliver McCall category of great chins - then I need to see how he'd react to Wilder's home run punches because there may be a threshold to the power he's able to take because his chin at this point is almost looking invunerable, He takes every kill shot like it's nothing
Finally Parker is absolute nails for staying in there. Landed his best shot about 40 times (like most of JJ's opponents) and got beaten half to death (like most of JJ's opponents)

TYSON Fury joked the only way Joseph Parker could have beaten Joe Joyce was by kicking him in the nuts.
The former WBO heavyweight world champion lost for the first time since 2018 in Manchester on Saturday.
Parker was back in the ring for the first time since defeating Derek Chisora last December.
And the New Zealander made a strong start, claiming the opening round against his British opponent.
Joyce hit back in the second, though, and didn't look back.
But the 2016 Olympic silver medalist didn't get the job done until late on in the fight.
Less than one minute into the 11th round, Joyce caught Parker with a brutal left hook that sent him tumbling to the canvas.

Parker managed to beat the count, but referee Steve Gray ended the fight.
Following the brutal ending to the bout, Fury was asked whether the Kiwi could have done anything differently.
He bluntly said: "He could have kicked him in the nuts."
But the Gypsy King was full of praise for both fighters.
He added: "It was a great fight, very entertaining and good to watch. The better man won on the night, Joe Parker tried his heart out, it wasn't good enough, but that's boxing."
