Is there any of you that thinks that? Not the Crawford that beat Spence. Boots is good, don't get me wrong. But I don't think he is of Crawford's calibre... In fact, ATM, no one is.

Probably not but a young hungry undefeated and confident challenger Like Ennis would be a more dangerous challenge than facing Spence again.

Ennis would likely beat Spence but not Crawford.
he might not but i still want to see the fight
It is the mark of an educated mind to be able to entertain a thought without accepting it.
I've unfortunately concluded Boots does not have the opponent depth and urgency to top the last Bud I watched. I'd pay and it would be exciting, great fight. But. Crazy to think a year or two ? ago some were calling Boots basically the uncrowned champ. He went the interim championship route feels like waiting for Bud to jump up but the promotion is doing him no favors. Guys like Ugas and Mario flippin Barrios are now fighting for one of those interim trinkets now. And on a massive event and spotlight like Canel vs Charlo card. Mario Barrios for 147 'interim' champ . Just wanted so much more for Boots by now
Boots looked really good in his last fight- but I feel like that is deceiving as his opponent was tough but limited. Boots is skilled and can punch, but Bud is an enormous leap in level of competition. I would like to see Boots fight Thurman or someone at that level prior to getting in the ring with Bud. It saying it is t the most intriguing fight at 147 right now, nor that I wouldn’t pay to watch it, I just think it is a little too soon for Boots and I would rather watch that fight when Boots is at his best (after fighting tougher opposition).
I’m not sure we’ll ever see it. After Bud’s fight with Spence, at this moment in his career he now moves into the “bigger fish to fry” zone. And that probably means moving up.

Jaron has a better chance than you think. Don't forget he from Philly. Them boys r differen, cuh!!!
Crawford is a great fighter but he doesn't scare me. I don't watch him and think "WOW !!"
Ennis switch hitter, possess a height advantage, just as athletic if not more athletic than Crawford, and the KEY is : Boots likes to fight on the outside, which will pose problems.
Problem is Ennis got hit way too often against Villa for my liking. Crawford hits harder than Villa and is more accurate, not to mention way more brutally vicious BUT Ennis doesn’t seem to be discouraged by clean hits. He’s always happy to throw hard shots non stop until he’s taken you out. I notice that Bud’s opponents all get more and more discouraged as they fight him, but I doubt that’ll happen to Ennis.
The only thing Boots lacks is seasoning. That's Crawford only edge
Who has Boots beat?
Let him fight Ugas or Thurman.
Crawford has bigger fish to fry.
Stanionis is the natural fight to make for Ennis
The Barrios vs. Ugas winner is another good option
Thurman should be at 154 at this point
If Crawford isn't going to fight Stanionis or Ennis
He should be looking north to Tszyu

Anyone at all actually watching him fight David Avanesyan tonight . It's on Dazn so missing it here. David will pretty much be a comparative measuring stick and Ennis hoping to get him out sooner than Bud did.
