Evander did like to use that head of his. He caused a horrible injury to Rahman too. The older Holyfield got the more he used that head.

He was a great fighter up until and through the trilogy with Riddick bow and after that I think he just became a trash dirty low down junkyard dog fighter
We need a Tyson fouls Holyfield video montage, like the headbutt in round 6 or 7 of the first fight when Tyson was looking to foul his way out, or when he tried to break one of Holyfield's arms after one of the rounds in the first fight, or the two bites in the second fight, the first of which relieved Evander of a piece of his ear.
I am not accusing Holyfield of being a Saint, but highlighting his alleged fouls considering what Tyson did to him in return is beyond eye opening.

Yeh I can’t find a need to dry my eyes for Mike who knew all about springing into headers, arm locks that would make Ricky Steamboat blush, blindly clotheslining refs and his share of ball busters. He put an effort into all but neutering Ruddock second time around, and that’s not just between the ropes. Holyfield sure no different than many fighters who um evolve their game getting more physical. We call some fighters ‘greats’ who mastered the floating elbow, working refs, mastering the belt line, deadening hips and well letting a guy run into some things with their noggin. But as then and still now the biggest factor between Mike and Holyfield came down to mettle. Tyson got worked in every aspect including mentally and physically. I really do believe it played out exactly like it was going to play out. Always felt the Rahman stuff was overblown. Yes grotesque second forehead grew on Rahman but how that fight played gets lost. Both fighters were warned for heads multiple times. Heads clanged but it’s ignored that Rahman was being rattled off repeated right hands start in 3rd and again in 6th. Rahman hurt again along ropes in 7th in exchange and it’s rough but the huge right hand with 51 seconds remaining mark immediately left the egg on that forehead! It was crazy in slo mo and near instant. Clear as day.
I loved the Toney v Holyfield fight. Evander kept trying to butt Toney when he started to lose- after the first 2 minutes- but James knew where to put his head and gave Holyfield nothing but a beating.
