Default Tszyu's Take on Mayweather - Judah

    Dear Tszyu Crew,

Last weekends battle between Floyd Mayweather Jr and Zab Judah in Las Vegas was very interesting. Zab fought well in the first four rounds. I think the combination of his speed and southpaw style gave Floyd some trouble. But, as all great boxers do, Floyd found the answers within himself. I had Floyd winning, but not by the same big margin that some of the judges and commentators had. I thought Zab won five of the rounds.

This was one of Floyd’s best wins. I have always said that Zab is a good fighter. He showed this in the early rounds. But again, I was very impressed with Floyd’s performance and it was an exciting fight to watch in many ways.

There has been talk of a possible fight between Floyd and myself later this year. This is exciting to hear, but I am focusing on my dancing and some business projects right now. When it comes to my boxing career, I am cool right now and relaxing.

The more I watch the fight the more I think Mayweather dominated... now I htink it was 10 rounds not including the knock down... He won the 2nd and third round, and the 11th and 12th the only rounds I gave Zab were the first and fourth, and the first could have gone Mayweather's way.. I just didn't see it that way.

How did you give Mayweather the 2nd round? And the 11th and the 12th? he was outlanded in 11, and lost the 12th on all 3 scorecards

I can't believe what I am reading, Tszyu hears he has a chance to fight PBF but instead he is focusing on his dancing?

What the hell did you do him Ricky ?

I don't remember seeing any particularly vicious low blows in that fight ...

Kostya was dropped by a nasty low blow took the fight out of him. Before the low shot his superior boxing and accuracy kept it competitive and he won a few of the middle rounds. He was having trouble with Hatton's strength, workrate and grappling tactics anyway but flat out couldn't match him for strength or energy after the low blow.

He didn't get outlanded inthe 11 he landed 19 to 13, and the second he landed 5 flush left hooks to Zab's one good hook counter and left cross... the rest of the punches weren't big at all. The 12th Floyd outlanded Zab and made him look like a fool because Zab couldn't hit him.
