I scored the fight for Oscar, and I think Lederman did too. I know Foreman and Lampley thought Oscar won. Foreman was almost irate, saying that Oscar was robbed, and he can't believe they{the judges} would do that to Oscar considering the first one was close, and Oscar did even better in the second fight.

Oscar has got some close calls, and lost some close ones, but he got robbed for sure on this one.

Since about a majority of everyone nto involved with HBO and those at ringside had Shane winning that fight. I had Shane winning but it was a very tough fight to score. And I wanted DLH to win that fight badly so there'd be a third one. And apparently Oscar feels he lost two, because right after the Barerra Morales II fight they asked Oscar if he'd like to fight Shane a third time, and Oscar De La Hoya said and I quote(and this was in a boxingtalk interview also audio)

"No, I just think Shane has my number, much like Barerra has Morales, I would much rather promote him, I kno wit would be a lot less painful."

    so there

obviously he's not gonna bash or say anything negative about a fighter he's promoting

He said that after Morales fought Barerra the third time(Barerra's third fight with Golden Boy), he wasn't promoting Shane then.

So what? You think they hadn't talked about it, or he didn't know he was going to be promoting him.. I really don't think DLH would actually think that because he has a very good case for winning the 2nd.. Certainly if he looks good against Mayorga and Shane beats Vargas that 3rd fight would be huge but it won't happen because of busieness now, although Id favor DLH if he has still got it, because Shane doesn't have much left.

Why would you say Shane Dosent have anything LeftBecause he lost 2x to Forrest who just had his numberand to someone who quite possibly will win the Middleweight championship of the world..Sorry if Shane hasn't been blowing people out lately..He has only fought the best possible.

Out of his last 9 fights only 1 would be considered a Tomato can,I just will never understand a Shane Hater the guy is a Hall of Famer for sure.

You could make a case for Shane winniong the Forrest rematch . We all thought hed done enough until they announced the decision .

Marquez was getting beaten until he tried to get out of the fight . A mosley win would have been a more deserving result

You could also make a case for Shane winning the Wright return too . After the 1st fight there seemed no way he could win but he put on a very good boxing display .

He won both the Oscar fights fair and square IMO

He stopped Vargas legitimatley last time and will probably do it again

it really oesnt matter if Oscar thinks he won the fight or not. If you score the fight correctly oscar won.. Ive seen guys who clearly should have won decisions act like they didnt think they won.

I think Oscar had teh beating of Shane in the rematch but let it go much like teh Trinidad fight . Shane really started to hurt him bad in the 9th round and took all the wind out of him . Oscar didnt really throw after that and on my card lost by 1 round
