Default Tim Tszyu vs Bakhram Murtazaliev Oct. 19th Prime

Top notch title fight going under the radar. I'm still trying to get used to saying boxing on Amazon Prime . Tszyu takes zero soft touches and has a focus of succeeding in the States at the highest level. Talent and potential wise 154 remains imo one of the deepest divisions going. Style wise I can see 22-0 Murtazaliev making this a very physical fight but has to be said he is also coming in with 1 fight in 2 years, the Ibf title KO vs Culcay in April.

Glad Tim is back, loved his dad as a fighter, and the best at the weight including Crawford. hope he gets a chance to prove it.

Really like his straightforward fighter's mentality and approach. No frills no arse kissing and bloviating about "chasing the bag". Just fight respected comp and stay very active. Still don't know how he healed up with that gash but we're going to find out quickly here.

Have to say on a side note, the graphics and audio early are top notch for Prime. Just the "look" is very immersive and crisp. And so far, have not had to refresh 101 times as with a Dazn .

Absolute war over ten rounds between middles Cesar Mateo Tapia and Endry Saavedra ends in an iffy majority draw. Tapia down 3 times and right eye near slammed shut early on, Saavedra down once. Firey exchanges ruled the night. Tapia says he's not a bullshit artist and it could have gone either way, welcomes a rematch. Saavedra disappointed and open to rematch as well.

Battle of the stiff jabs in 1st. Tellez bringing in sweep left to the body and Gonzalez follows suit. Thought Gonzalez more consistent with it.

Like Gonzalez in 2nd with volume and stiff jab a constant. Tellez gets in a few showy shots, 2 rights and a lead upper but Gonzalez staying constant so far.

Good left to the gut by Tellez followed by chopping right early 3rd. Tellez fights majority round off and along ropes moving smart and picking shots much better. Gonzalez slowed a bit and cannot cut him off. 2-1 Gonzalez

Tellez really putting his punches together and not neglecting the body at all now. More of a front foot pace and great upper body movement. 2-2

Nice 5th for Tellez mixing lefts with the upper and or hook to the body. Has broken the output of Gonzalez up and has him thinking about the receipts now. 3-2 Tellez up and gap widening.

Tellez shaking Gonzalez up. Coming from multi angles and Gonzalez dropped hard late 6th off long right hand! That whip left to the body is savage from Tellez. Gonzalez looking questionable in the corner.

Tellez zeroed in full on here. Comes out piston punching and drops Gonzalez along ropes mid 7th, gets up shaken and promptly drops Gonzalea again with clean right hand and ref waves it off. Quite the finisher here. Impressive top-notch stuff.

Waaay too much "reading the press clippings" going on in lead up to main event by talking heads. Asking Tim about bigger things after the fact (win) . This is no cake walk and definitely not a guaranteed victory. Do work be impressive more importantly get that W . Then talk about tomorrow.
