Hey guys,
I don't know what to expect with my initiation into the Scottish Rite Lodge. I passed all of the tests and inquiries... Now it is just up to get my black suit, black tie and sit through the initiation ritual. i have heard a lot of shit about the initiation process, how they hit you over the head and lay you flat on the ground to simulate a posture of submission. But none of the guys who went before me seemed shell shocked, they just didn't say anything happened that I should worry about.
This will be quite a step up in manhood for me. Looking forward to it. I was trying to join a Freemason lodge for the past 10 years, but my highschool mate was in the Prince Hall Lodge and he was acting kind of secretive like he didn't want to get me involved. So, I stumbled into the Scottish Rite by accident. lol...
We will see how this goes. A lot of the important men in my country, and worldwide, are members. I was at a social event we had at the Lodge HQ and they were having a simultaneous meeting in the back too and was shocked at who all were members as they breezed past me for their "high level," meeting.
Any of you guys are members of the Lodge? English, Prince Hall or Scottish?
