Default O'Shaquie Foster v Robson Conceicao II

Took place Saturday night over on Espn+. Thought it was actually a decent fight and much better than the first. Both made adjustments with Conceicao focused with a faster cleaner start. He was loose in a good way, not fighting tight. Was whipping the left hook thru out but it got wider and wider. Foster made it a point to stay up front much more than the first fight but was overly selective with his offense in the first half. I had Conceicao up slightly up after 7 rounds and Foster homed in on the late rounds and upped the volume as Conceicao showed visible fatigue. Foster had him rocked and hurt in the 9th with a straight right hand but did not pour it on. Thought Foster took the 'championship' rounds as Conceicao was tired and unraveled in the 12th and final. In the end a good fight. I ended at 115-113 Foster. Judges cards were 115-113 Foster, 115-113 Conceicao, 115-113 Foster. New champ via S.12 Foster.

Co main lightweight contender Raymond Muratalla 23-0 looked very very sharp in blasting out Jesus Antonio Perez Campos 25-6 in the 2nd round. Campos looked out of sorts very early and was being feinted out of position by the sheer speed of Muratalla who has great feet and combination punching. Muratalla now sits top 3 in 3 of the 4 bodies and his attitude when asked who next was bring them on. 135 is so overdue in having so much talent clash. So many interesting matches.

i thought robson deserved the win but it was obvious before the fight even started who was going to get the nod. this is a trilogy no one wants. o'shaquie has looked poor in all three of his fights this year. he needs to let his hands go. this style of not hitting & not getting hit ain't working. i agree it was better than the first fight. raymond looked good. i hope he can stay consistent from here
It is the mark of an educated mind to be able to entertain a thought without accepting it.

    I scored it a draw
    Both guys are skilled
But I don't won't to see either in a main event again unless it's a unification fight
