Thread: Meanwhile... in other boxing news (Collazo KO win at 105)

Little guys need some love too.

While most of the world was watching the Jake Paul - Mike Tyson circus... 105-pound world champion Oscar Collazo was picking up the WBA version of the belt by knocking out the previously undefeated Knockout CP Freshmart (Thammanoon Niyomtrong, from Thailand) in the 7th round, to add to his already WBO world title. Apparently Oscar's win was very dominant... and now he seeks to pick up all the belts (currently held by Pedro Taduran (IBF), and Melvin Jerusalem (WBC)). Oscar has already previously knocked out Jerusalem in the 7th round of a fight back in 2023.

I think it's a safe bet that Oscar can totally unify 105. Not sure if he would want to go up in weight after that.

Collazo was flawless and very impressive today. Excellent boxer puncher.
