Default Richardson Hitchens wins IBF Title.

I'm not a big fan of Hitchens (I think he's kind of whiny) but he's from my country so I'm happy I suppose. Hitchens was a very slick boxer tonight landing straight shots down the line and snapping Paro's head back with a stiff jab. His foot work is very good and he does a decent job of keeping his distance. He was kinda sniping away at him and every time Paro came in he was getting peppered with shots. There was a score card that had Paro winning it like 117-111 which is an absolute disgrace to our sport. I scored it 117-112 (I had the 4th round an even 10-10 round). But yeah, once Hitchens could settle down and start timing him it was over despite how much Paro was bouncing around like a fing Kangaroo.

Hitchens deserved the decision, he controlled the fight with a beautiful jab and kept its range. Do not know how the one judge gave it to Paro by such a wide margin. They need to explain themselves and go on some training.

Still have yet to watch this one but when I heard the outcome, I was a bit surprised. Might have read too much into Paros win over Matias. Was odd having an Australian and US Hitchins squaring off in PR but likely warming a possible winner vs Matias showdown.
