Forget about the size differences and weight, I believe Inoue can come up and make this fight at Lightweight and Tank Davis can stay at a normal size, even a catchweight between 130 and 135.. Tank can do that. He's not that big.

After Tank's last performance, why not.

Entertaining... sure. Will definitely end by knockout.

But do we really want to perpetuate the Canelo School of Weight Mismatches in boxing??

For instance... sure. A fight between Bud Crawford and Dmitry Bivol would be intriguing (while it lasted). But damn...

Inoue is already an ATG and has earned his stripes across several of the lower divisions. But why throw him to the wolves against Tank?

Remember what happened to Leo Santa Cruz? And the difference there was only one weight division.

Bro, I'm all for the "what-ifs" of boxing. And I like it when dudes move up weight divisions (the right way).

    But Inoue vs Tank?

Forget how Tank may have looked against Roach.

Fact is he has the punching power of a much heavier guy.

There's only one probably outcome for that fight, and it's a Tank KO somewhere along the line.

    The Monster doesn't need Tank.

And Tank needs to get busy with the glut of great fighters available around his weight.

    Just my opinion, of course.

Call me crazy, but after seeing Tank wobbled by Roach—who isn’t even a big puncher—I’m convinced Inoue knocks him out!

Tank is need of a serious reset and talk with himself off of the Roach fight. He got too comfortable and grew overly content and the first time someone didn't just fall over from the noted eraser he had no adjustments for the most part. Laser focus on Roach rematch and handle that then worry about next step. Like to see Inoue have a go with Akhmadaliev very soon. And then bring on Junto if/when he comes up. Absolutely massive all Japan super fight!

Sometimes you get in tough fights. I had a feeling a fighter would wait Tank out and match him strength for strength in the middle rounds. Everyone knows Tank goes easy in the first 5 round and then starts to pick it up at about 6 or 7. All you had to do is match his lethargy in the early rounds and treat it like a light jog and then when he turns up in the 6th, you put on your best performance and hope that you can outlast him for the end of the fight.

Yeh true Tank has to establish himself. But I don't think Roach jogged with him or timed him out. He actually took the fight to him smart and calculated. Outfought and beat him to the punch pretty consistently imo. But he'll need all that and a bit more in rematch.

We'll see if he can do that again. I am not sure, but we will have to see.
