Thread: please stop saying judah mayweather was a classic

judah came out and look good he really did for 4 rounds after that and if you take away his little diversion low blow and headshot he might have been stopped he was starting to get dominated stop saying that judah may have one that fight its just preposterous

judah was good for 4 rounds but thereafter floyd controlled the fight....the final 2 rounds were relatively even....

mayweather won convincingly in my eyes...

it was far better then 90% of the mayweather supporters thought it would be, it was a GREAT fight, and judah wasnt dominated man

I prefer Tito - Wright when I speak about domination. It wasn't so much a great fight as it was an intriguing fight.

those 2 fights are dominations, although i think lacy threw that fight away

I'm not saying it wasn't domination. I'm just saying that as Lacy is one of my fav fighters it sucks to hear. While hearing about Tito-Wright is music to my ears

Lacy was just out of his element. He was physically ready for that fight but he wasn't mentally. From the moment I saw him entering I had my doubts. He'll be back though.

It was a classic.

It showed the "what could have been" of Judah, and the "Mastery" of Floyd Mayweather.

There's no way it was a classic in any meaning of the word,at best it was a good,very good fight and as Angel Eyes said shows what could have been but that alone does not make it a classic.

IMO it was not a classic fight. it was an interesting fight between 2 very good fighters but in no way does it live up to what i would call a "classic".

we need a clearer definition of the term, the word "classic" is being bandied about too freely if we are to use it to describe PBF: judah...

If anyone considers Mosley vs. De La Hoya a classic. Then they could consider this one one. De La Hoya does good early but then Shane sweeps him the last 6 rounds you could make a case for Shane dominating him if we're going by this fights standards. I don't consider it an INSTANT classic like Castillo Corrales, but I consider it a fighting classic.

now castillo: carales 1.....thats more akin to my definition of "classic"...

the ear biting wasnt what i would term "classic". it was more "freakshow occurence" than anything else...
