    Haha that was me.

Yeah the fight was just crap. Audley is crap. I wanted to right but there was NOTHING to write about. He just wasn't throwing it was absurd. You will NEVER get me to watch him again...

And wasn't it you with Audley in your avatar? What happened?

    hahaha
Yeah he used to go to my school but has disgraced the whole of West london
Same as the Williams fight then?
Seems he just scared to throw anything that will leave him the slightest bit open to a punch from his opponent
Weird because he was never like that before and did (on occasion) throw some decent powerfull combos and was starting to look promising.
He made his £££ too early IMO and lost interest/hunger.
He's finished now as no promoter in their right mind is gonna have anything to do with him.

Yeah it was the same as the Williams fight. He was throwing these WEAK jabs, I wouldn't have even counted them as punches but I guess ESPN did. Here's what I posted in another thread where miles posted an article saying he would keep going. It kind of sums up what I think of the guy. I hope it's the last thing I ever post about him.

Of course he's not going to retire this is kind of his life and financial well being on the line. However, you won't get me to watch him until he actually commits himself to fighting. I can't describe the frustration you get when you see this guy who is built like the perfect heavyweight, a 6'6 southpaw with a long reach NOT USE HIS JAB! And like I said last night, I wouldn't completely turn my back on him if he abandoned his jab in favor of throwing power shots but NO! There is NOTHING being done in the ring. He just stands there and moves his hands in front of his face and I guess ESPN counts those as jabs? No those are reaches not jabs. He looked like he was trying to comfort Guinn by stroking the side of his face not keep him at bay. The guy's head just isn't in the game. He says it is but it's obvious it isn't. He just stands there and covers up. It's embarrasing. Hell I didn't even like the guy going into the fight but FFS JUST THROW SOME PUNCHES AUDLEY! It was one of the poorest efforts I have ever seen in a boxing ring. He made Andrew Golata look like Jake Lamotta. Embarrasing that that guy has a gold medal to his name.

when he turned pro after olympic success i had faith in audley. when he finally got the chance to step up to the plate against williams i thought he would win, even against guinn i thought he would win. ive not seen the fight yet against guinn (british tv werent bothered) but from what ive heard it was dire. oh well. johnny nelson after 2 dire world title challenges in the early 90s came back.

I gave up after the first round.. seemed like good writting but when I heard Audley was doing his patented 'Fight a shorter fighter than you and hold your arm ou and back away from them' fight plan I got bored...

might work against Polish bin men but even fringe contenders like Guinn and Williams can walk strait through that bullshit...

aud is annoying, since whenever he threw anything against guinn he won a round, should have dominated.

When he finally threw some knuckle against Williams in the 11th he nearly Ko'd him but ran outta steam.

I now firmly believe he intended to simply use the Gold medal status to line his pockets and if he did then fair play because enough fighters have been used themselves in this game over the years by Managers,TV channels and the media.

He got sparked by Williams, pre Olympics, and so he knew his chin was not up to it...

Mind you, it is common knowledge Lamon Brewster flattened Lennox in sparring, but you cannot imagine Lewis having any problems with Lamon had they met...

Strange thing, the psychology of a fight.

Thats a good point and really does IMO swing fights
So many times when i've been ringside,i've seen fighters (and good capable ones) 'Lose it' mentally just walking to the ring.
Focus is paramount in the fight game

Agreed - the perfect example is Bruno crossing himself 19 times as he walked into the ring to fight Tyson.
