I know, Ali is undoubtedly greater, but there is no way a 210lbs Ali is better than the 250lbs Lewis, good point [click]

Dude hed make lewis look absolutley foolish in their I dont care about the size diiference and to be honest ali is not exactly a small man contrary to popular belief. Holyfield was outboxing him in spurts in the second fight and he wa spast it, hes speed was gone. Ali was much faster than holy and had a longer reach and supernatural jab. Lewis is just to slow and clums on his feet hell eat the jab all night long ali had the best jab I have ever seen. I love lewis but you guys have no idea what your talking about he just does not have the speed lewis is a big man who has power but essentially fights cautiously he eat jabs all night, he d look downright goofy in there. Also if they fought today with todays regiments and nutrition supplemets etc, ali would hover around 217 hes about holyfields size actually bigger with a longer reach

Just to clear this up Im not a leenox hater i admire his skills and smarts in the ring but i know alot of you guys from the uk love lennox, I love mike tyson or evander holyfield or other fighters along with lewis but that doesn not mean they could beat a prime ali, hes the greatest heavy weight in boxing that iI have ever seen

I started it and for you to bring this up is just dumb, Chill, There are worse case scenarios on this forum.

Young Ali had the footwork to get past that giant and accurate jab. Ali would could fight at a pace that Lennox had never seen in his entire life. Ali was consistent, from 1 to 15. A big man like Lennox wouldn't have the energy of Ali's, who had a legendary energy tank. Ali also had the gift of landing punches on fighters that normally don't land with any other fighter, or going for a risky punch/combination but getting away with it. Ali had more balls than Lewis ever had his entire career.

But it'd be difficult getting past Lennox's jab. A jab which lead to his right cross. This is something a young Ali, with legs, could get away with.

But a 30's Ali (The early half of thirty), would make the fight much closer. Lewis won't knockout Ali, so I say Ali's speed keeps him just a notch up on scores, by the end of the fight.

Anyways, this is what I think. Anybody else?

Young Lennox had the endurance to go 15 rounds easy, and Ali never had a very high work rate and was boring to watch for the majority of most of his fights. Ali was fast for his time, but Lennox has a faster, harder jab and he is alot smarter than young ALi was in the ring. Ali never fought anyone with Lennox's skill back in his day.
