everybody knew it was bull****! no way was he going to turn that down. He would have set himself up for losing even more (millions). This is his best shot at making big money...

Really? Mayorga's gonna fight? I'm so shocked!

It's incredible to me that some people actually believed this clown would really pull out of this fight.

of course he will fight....mayorga has always been a tad unorthodox....

He's just ruffling feathers. It seems to be working up until now!

Mayorga feels that fighting and defeating De La Hoya is his destiny so This may be what is going on.

1.Wild man from the violent coast of Lake Managua is discovered by low down scum of a promoter and brought to the U.S.A. and taken advantage and now while actually boxing an promoter/idol;makes wildman raging mad.


2.There is a real psychological disadvantage to enter the ring and risk ones physical, mental and social livelihood for a sum that is only 20% of your opponent's so wildman would feel foolish to at least not try and get more mula.

3.Wild-man hears that his insulting of Oscar has back fired and actually making Oscar more focused so Wild-man goes opposite extreme.

4.Wild man is using a street-smart shift the blame ploy to make Oscar feel a bit selfish which could possibly make Oscar feel a bit undeserving and even guilty.
