Default Why are people saying Oscar should fight Tito and not PBF

I don't fully understand why quite a few people are raving about DLH/Trinidad II over DLH/PBF

A fight with Trinidad wouldn't draw near the money, wouldn't be as competative, and it brings yet another person into the scenario that could possibly beat Mayweather. Thats the whole thing isn't it? Theres been only a few people out there for Mayweather to fight, now we have one more who happends to be a legend, who has 1 more fight before he's finished with the game - and he's still got his stuff. If you ask me, Floyd is much more important to boxing than Trinidad. It makes sense to leave Tito on the backburner and let these 2 storms collide.

Unless DLH/PBF is being opposed for different reasons, maybe trying to protect their boy.
I garuntee you PBF is thinking otherwise - millions of reasons for him to think otherwise

I think you're wrong to say it wouldn't draw as much money. I think it would draw more money. I wouldn't mind seeing him fight either one. Not to mention he could fight the winner of Wright vs. Taylor. I'd like to see that.

I'm pretty sure ODH doesn't want the Wright v. Taylor winner. It's a smaller event, and I don't think ODH can handle their size (or Winky's skill). In all the post-B-Hop interviews, ODH talks about how stupid it was for him to try to go up to 160--it would be a mistake to do it again, and I'm pretty positive he won't.

ODH/Trinidad would draw more money and would be a MUCH easier fight for Oscar, who IMO would totally dominate. He dominated him last time until taking rounds off, and that's when Tito still had plenty in the tank. Tito is through now.

Oscar won't beat Floyd. He has a chance against Tito. Oscar can say he wants to fight the best, but the reality is, he has a better chance of beating Tito, or Winky. Floyd is too smart, too fast, and too good defensively. Floyd is better all-round than Mosely was when he beat a younger Oscar. Tito vs Oscar would draw more than Oscar-Floyd. Also, Oscar would have the revenge factor going for him to help promote the fight. If Oscar wants to go out on top, he should bypass Floyd.

    some good points

in many ways oscar fighting trinidad is good for boxing. both are huge PPV sellers. they have a controversial decision between them. oscar wants to go out on a high and gain revenge along the way....its a win, win situation....

furthermore, it keeps mayweather out of the picture and in weight classes he should stick around in before going up and possibly going beyond his limit...

peerhaps then we can see floyd returning and facing guys who we've been talking up for so long....the hattons and margaritos of this world....

we'll see soon enough where it all leads.....
