I wanted to introduce this question to the forum to get some opinions. Simply because I know ODH has been dodging him for well over 10 years .

Winky
Draw
osacr would stop him i believe....i think winky is a little overrated....and hes a great stylistic matchup for oscar because oscar can match his jab and winky has nothing to hurt oscar with and oscar can hurt winky
I think you've been drinking if ODLH could even land a hard shot on W.W ! have you EVER seen anyone hurt him?
winky no doubt
I'm not really sure who would win but I'm leaning more towards Winky, but by no means do I think it would be a walk in the park like the tito fight. To be honest I don't even think this fight will happen why now, after all the years of not really even mentioning his name.
It could happen, and if it does it will be for the same reason Hopkins is now fighting Tarver and Roy wan'ts Calzaghe... Because this is his last shot to secure his legacy and be remembered for something. I still really doubt it will happen, and I wouldn't give Oscar a great chance to win, imo the best possible outcome for DLH would be that it was similar to the Sturm fight, only I dont see DLH being able to land the same kind of punches when he needs to against WW.
The inactivity Oscars had may have effected him but we wont know until he fights the best . As tito proved fighting Mayorga is no prep for fighting a defensive genius like Winky . De La Hoyas left hand will be trouble for Winky but Wrights defence is great alsoOriginally Posted by LawHoops
i would have said winky before saturday night. but de la hoya has still got it and now i'm having my doubts.
ODLH Split Decision
If by that you mean "Oscar has been busy fighting mega fights" then yes he's been "dodging" Winky.Originally Posted by fatsandy
What reason does Oscar have to fight Winky? And don't say his legacy because that is already FIRMLY in place! Wright is too big and too secure at 154-160 for ODH to fight him. Besides no one would pay the money to watch that like they would to watch Oscar-Floyd!
A win over Oscar would cement Winky's legacy but it wouldn't do anything for Oscar
Plain and Simple - De La Hoya would beat Winky right on his face and to the mat.
Winky KO - maybe even as early as 5 rounds.
