I disagree... He walks around at 175, and 147 should be easily within his fighting weight comfort zone. I think a fighter like Collazo or Mayweather would give Hatton the same troubles if not more at 140. I mean Mayweather looks still very good at 147 and htats his walking around weight normally so I think people are being ignorant in thinking that this weight is too big for Hatton because I think he could even fight at light middleweight comfortably because he looked kinda pudgy around the sides, and I think he could easily put on more muscle for 147 let alone 154.

I guess we have to go back to the question that Kosta Tszyu aside who has Ricky fought?

There arn't many big names on his record apart from the Kosta, no actually there arn't any.

That what i've been saying. I like hatton and think hes good but i said countless times he fought D,C and C+ fighters in his first 38 fights. He stepped it up big time and beat an A fighter just to go back to fighting C+ fighters. That alone is not enough for me to anoint him the next great fighter. Hes shown signs but hes got alot more to learn before he can beat a mayweather.
Step up so I can put you down

I just think people aren't giving Collazo the credit he deserves by saying that it was the weight change that did it... I bet Hatton is naturally bigger than Collazo, and weighed more during the fight, but I've also said Hatton isn't a knockout puncher, and like Mayweather seems to beat his opponents into submission as opposed to one hit knockouts.

Judah moved up to fight the Undisputed Champ in Spinks, who like Collazo is a southpaw who has good boxing skills but they say lacks power but had pop to move people. Judah fought a very close fight the first time and Spinks got the decision, but once Zab settled into the weight he came back and stopped Spinks. I see no reason why Hatton shouldn't be able to do the same against Collazo if they have a rematch.
