Thread: Best Music Downloader

ok, i have a laptop. and i use it for work, I had this thing at university it was super fast! like im talking movies in like 4 minutes, but as I am at home now it doesn't connect, only in res. so I need something small that downloads music, what is a good one that won't really slow down my computer? WinMX, limewire?

i mesh aint bad but u could dowload bitlord www.bitlord.com and then go to www.isohunt.com search the albums u want and they download throu bitlord fast

shareaza.. can download torrents and peer to peer networks so you can search for file through shareaza and all the networks is searches or off a tracker site like the pirate bay dot org

I got imesh, but it won;t let me import the songs to Itunes? anyway to get around this

Get shareaza and set the shareaza download folder as your Itunes folder... I tunes will automaticly organise everything in there for you... its just a case of going to 'add file' in I tunes and pressing ctrl a to select all the files. Then it adds any new ones it finds.

I have limewire and it is flawless, any song I want I can get

Limewire all day long.

I use Limewire & BearShare.
I like BearShare better cuz it downloads the stuff right to a folder on my desktop & it has a cute bear for a logo.

You have no idea who has uploaded what and viruses thru Limewire have f8cked so many of my mates PC's up it's unreal.
Mainly those with Dell pc's too.
Be warned.
Trust me i work in telecomms and would'nt go anywhere near Limewire.

For boxing by far and away the best sites are www.worldboxingvideoarchive.com and the other one that you can't mention

wbva aren't as Nazi about the rules as the other one but if you do sign up make sure you play fair and leave the files open for a while after you've downloaded

Speaking of torrents, what are the best sites for downloading just general stuff?
