Thread: Why saddo.com is pfp the best site on the internet...

First of all 90%+ of the posters here are pretty cool. You can pretty much say anything you like (except extreme racial stuff and poster x is driving/flying over to kill poster y). There is alot of different opions here , some might be crap in your opion , but still everyone has one. Plenty of diverse people here , black , white martians , etc... (makes for good talk). Many of the posters here have an extreme ammount of boxing knowledge (perhaps to much?get a life!!! just kidding) from which we all can learn. The moderators here are extremely cool , almost no threads are pulled (except for , as above , poster x is looking to kill poster y). Almost everyone here (well except royal and his many personas) come to this site to post what they feel is real (and even he might! (is there a doctor on board?)) And most importantly , rarely does anyone make a big deal if you "spulled" something wrong. Im sure there are a hundred other reasons we all come here. With a site such as this its hard to think of all the cool things about it (especially when your drunk at 4pm. whoops sorry!) rock on saddo and all its members!!!

Agreed this is one of the best boxing boards I have ever come across.

I agree 100%. Saddo's without a doubt is the most knowledgeable and civilized of all forums. And the moderators are like regular posters. They don't power trip like some at other forums. Editing posts and showing favoriteism. The fact that I have a lifetime ban at Max, Boxing Talk and Dog Pound has nothing to do with my opinion. Another thing that I like about Saddo is, of course the Sad Click.

have to agree with you there man. some other sites (and i dont mean just boxing) moderators are flat out punk ass bitches. why the F do you have a message board where you cant arguee (perhaps even cuss) without his "holyness the moduuu-rator" pulling the thread because he got his period that day

You forgot the Welsh in your diversity list! Granted I don't have the in-depth knowledge of some of my more experienced peers here, and I totally agree that the posters are all pretty laid back and take the criticism well and with a sense of humour. I am somewhat loath to suggest the moderators have a sense of humour, maybe because I've never come across on yet, but maybe a week of watching family guy and simpsons could install that in them!

This is the best site, because of the international sharing of opinions and deep wells of boxing knowledge
I was made to feel welcome and comfortable right away, like i'm in a kick ass pub with friends!!

Plus I feel this is where the genuine fight fans go on the web

the mods are great at making you feel welcome even if you start out with some absolute crap post , but dont go to far 'cause theyll make you look like a fool! il take you up on that pint!

One of the main reasons i love this board is to do with the way its run...

the mods seem to let the, for want of a better word; 'arguments' run their course and die out... So often we got the birts going up ageists the Americans, weather its them saying calzaghes about to get his a** handed to him by lacy. then the Brits saying i told you so, or the slagging off of hatton and, well only time will tell on that one.. but you see where im going...

Its cool the mods are not 'thread locking' happy and hell, more often than not their are right in the thick of it themselves

Another great thing about it is for some of my generation who only knows of the past greats by name or the very rare fight im lucky to see on TV; the amount o knowledge so many of the older generation posses of the greats of 30 years ago and even more is refreshing, its nice to read actual peoples opinions on these fighters rather than some stuffy bi-est sports writer of yesteryear...
