Thread: Right now we seen all the teams in action!! Whose your pick?

After seeing all the World Cup countrys, i still think it's Brazils to loose, my opinion looks like this:

Brazil ( Will improve have the firepower to take anyone out Winners)

Argentina ( From seeing them play a feel an organised outfit can take them out QF at best)

England ( On there day i could only see them struggling against Brazil, but this aint a perfect world, QF/SF for me )

Spain ( The usual under achievers have the players to go far but realisticaly LAST16/QF )

Holland ( Not to sure about the orange men part of me says could go far other part says they could be exposed Im saying QF.)

Czech ( Suprise package, could go far im saying Final)

Portugal ( Another middle of the road team for me are decent but will meet there match soon enough QF.)

Mexico ( Could get to the Qf's aswell look very organised decent outfit.)

The rest for me need a miracle especially France who look like old men, Germany have a sneak but need to avoid England in the last 16.

The Czechs are fucked cos their strikers are all crippled
Italy looked pretty average I thought not enough pace or goalscorers in midfield
Portugal look good
Holland look good but their defence is shite
Spain looked awesome but their defence is also shite
Germany are shite and will lose to the first good team they play as they did in the last world cup
France look shite
Argentina might win if Messi gets fit
England could win if Wayne is fit for the quarters
Brazil might win if they drop fatty Ronaldo

Czechs have started off well but they have done that before - and they jave injuries to contend with

Brazilian coach needs the bottle to drop Ronaldo , but they have ability to shoot from anywhere and can score at any time. You get the feeling some of those long range efforts could start flooding in ! Is expectation too high and is the pressure on though ?


France - past it, apparently haven't scored a goal on foreign soil in any major tournament finals since 1986 !

Italy - will be there or there abouts but won't win it

Holland - same as Italy

Germans - never EVER bet against the Germans

Portual - QFs and no further


Dark Horses :

Australia - they win everything else so don't want them winning this aswell...

And finally England - YES we have the team to do it. A good performance tomorrow will start the ball rolling and with Rooney's imminent return morale could be boosted even further.

If Owen can get match sharp in next two group games and we get some long overdue luck and stay injury free then we can win this thing - I have no doubt


Thats probably why most of the natin is so nervous this time and on edge - before in tournaments we have known we have a decent team who can get to latter stages. Now we all know we have a team that has that little bit extra.

I am going to agree. I haven't heard of half those countries.

I mean, someone must be having laugh, who ever heard of a country called Germany or Portugal? This is a wind up.

Aren't East Angular or Rio among the favourites?
