IBF number 1 contender beats them all. That's how sad the Heavy's are.

I believe that was just decided by the horrible Brock-Timor fight

And Max Kellerman says the Heavyweight division is not in trouble. LMFAO ! Ruiz has not won a fight legitimately in 50 fu@#ing years , how is he #1? LMAO ! Ray Austin has not fought anyone to justify a top 30 ranking much less #2 . This list a joke, Calvin Brock #4 ? after last nights performance he should have his license revoked, for lack of spectator interest. I guess you could say it was an historic event last night. The most boring Heavyweight fight in history . No reason keep going down this list, it’s a joke , the best guy by far on this list is #11 Sam Peter .

Actually if Valuev is having knee surgery I doubt he will fight on September 9th.

I was thinking the same thing...but some of that shat is in out & pretty quick if it's orthoscopic or laser or whatever...

The thing is...if he's having knee trouble now...holy christ just wait a few more years.

You know...I aint that big on Valuev...but I sure would like to research his life & see how he came up & alla that. He's a big man & you know he gotta have an odd life & all.

    Just a thought.

It really seems that with big people like him, if they are active those joints wear out faster. So much pressure on them. Cant see him being around boxng longer than another 2 years.

they can do some miracles anymore when it comes to knees and hips....I have watched people go in for hip replacement surgery and come out walking within 2 days.......the knee thing shouldn't be too much of a problem.....he has over 2 months.....and it's not an MCL, PCL or ACL so he sould be jogging within 2 weeks....
It feels good to be back home.

If this guy is going in for a meniscus problem, he will be better in no time.

While he's there, he should really consider getting a JAB implant.

Valuev's story is pretty interesting, he was set to make his mark a good few years ago but American promoters wanted him to sever ties with his then friend/promotor, I think he did a last minute U-turn, or should I say he was given no choice but to do a last minute U-turn on a fight and subsiquently got no further work in the States. Its too easy to look at Valuev and where he does the bulk of his fighting and say he is a protected, home town fighter, but as in alot of cases if you scratch beneath the surface all is not what it seems.

When God said to the both of us "Which one of you wants to be Sugar Ray?" I guess I didnt raise my hand fast enough

I read somewhere (maybe fightnews) that Valuev was supposed to make an apperance at the July 8th Spinks fight in St. Louis . Courtesy of Don King. That is not happening now due to the surgery.
