Looking like he'll get his title shot if he wins on 21st July then.
Gonna be giving him a bell over the next few days to do another exclusive `podcast interview for the site.
Hold tight

wow...doesn't he have like 16 fights total??.....little premature for a #1 ranking unless the CW division is in peril.......I think they are pushing this kid too fast..........Originally Posted by Smashup

Agreed. He needs more experience before challenging too highly....he isnt ready for 12 rounders yet!!!
He can punch though!! But needs to work on the basics a little more. Stamina does help
so he'll be in line for his second Pro loss then?
BASICLY... WTF. His handlers better have their whits about them and not allow this kid to be thrown to the wolvesOriginally Posted by Lyle

How is he ranked over Grigory Drozd? or Vadim Tokarev? or even Enzo Maccarinelli?
For every story told that divides us, I believe there are a thousand untold that unite us.
Haye is the EBU champ which carries alot of weight with the WBC, see Junior Witter also.
When God said to the both of us "Which one of you wants to be Sugar Ray?" I guess I didnt raise my hand fast enough

i agree but i think he could beat any of the current crop of young heavyweights britain have and it might spark some excitement into the division, scott gammer as british champion does'nt do alot for the heavyweight sceneOriginally Posted by Smashup
I honestly don't think he can take the power of a Heavyweight.
Hayes last fight.... he seemed to struggle even shifting his opponent with some heavy punches early on and he was getting some back that seemed to sap him badly.
Jury's still out on Haye for me![]()
i agree with you about him not being able to take a heavyweights punch, but thats part of the excitement, will he land before they do etc
After seeing him fight alot of times now and seen a couple of training sessions, for me he deosnt seem the type to grind it out or dig deep, i honestly see him getting beat when the going gets tuff and that will defintly happen now he is ranked number 1.Originally Posted by Smashup
I don't think he could even win a World title at Cruiser
with his power he's got a very good punchers chance to win a cruiser weight titleOriginally Posted by Smashup
