Oh come on has Hatton fallen so far that he would be beat by Gatti?

I think not, Hatton would have him out of there inside 10 rounds, although the whole point is moot as Baldomir will be kicking his ass into retirement in two weeks time.

Not really but Hatton still has issues and those issues are exploited and I think Gatti exploiting them with someone like Buddy in his corner would help Gatti outbox Hatton and at 147 if Collazo can stun him and nearly have him down I think Gatti would stop him.

even if it where to happen and even if hatton would beat gatti, he is too old de lahoya got him out in 5 rounds and mayweather in 7 I would think hatton would have to do it in three or less to make a statement of somekind, but i doulbt he would get rid of him that easily.

Both have similar styles. Both have good chins. Both cut pretty easy. Both employ good body attacks. Both have the same D. Which is no D. It'll come down to power. I think Gatti wields more of it. Gatti has laid fools out with one shot. Hatton needs volume to stop somebody. Gatti wins

That being said can you think of a more equal match in the welters right now?

He said equal match. I never said Gatti would win it. I also think Cotto wins.

But with the precision of Cotto matched with Arturo's catchers mitt face would make for a very one sided fight
