    Default Hatton vs. Castillo...who wins?

Castillo and Hatton share a lot of similiarities in their styles, both are pressure fighters, with big heart, lot of stamina and power.I really think that Hatton can walk away with a W here, but Castillo got more xp and i bet that no matter if its at 140 or 147,hes too strong for Hatton, and bigger,he also has an iron chin.

What do you guys think the outcome of this fight would be if it takes place?

I think Castillo would out-rough even Hatton at 147,

At 140 Castillo can't make weight, so......Hatton by NC

I think JLC can squeeze into 140,because remember, his fights with Diego were@135. I personally think it would be as close and evenly matched as a flip of a coin with both being the cut in the fight. I feel Hatton might win because all those fights MUST catch up on JLC sooner or later,he's had about 60 pro fights right and alot of wars and he's 31 years old!! I say Hatton,Split Decision.

Didn't hatton have surgery so he doesn't cut as easy though?

I think JLC is to relentless and is not deterred easy and has a hammer of a left hook and is really good on the inside and is a roughhouser as well.... JLC is far from shot but has alot more craft and experience which work in his favor...Plus the guy has an anvil of a head so he does not have a Ton of miles on him since genetically he is bigger than most he is in the ring with..

Who knows this argument can go on forever

Ur right Jt this argument could go on forever, but i think Hatton would win on points just through extra work rate, unless he ges stopped on cuts, its a difficult one to call but i sure hope it happens so we all have a chance at it!!.

I am leaning toward Castillo for power and Chin, only cause even though Coralles Tko'd Castillo, Diego has a hammer in each hand and Castillo was taking tremendous punishment on the inside most of the fight and was dishing it out too, NEVER did it deter Castillo from coming Forward and I dont think Hatton has near the Power of Diego and in terms of Hatton pushing around Castillo I just dont see him doing it.. Castillo is as tough as they come and is naturally bigger than Hatton

Though I cant give an answer I am leaning toward Castillo

Hatton doesnt have the power of corrales, but i believe he is alot more accurate, I think that Hatton would beat diego though, (although diego is one of my favourite fighters). but hatton vs castillo there are arguments either way, and neither are conclusive, I know one thing though I hope it happens, because its a dead cert for fight of the year!!.

this would be a great fight at 140 (at 147 jlc would blow him out imo)
i still like jlc by late tko or ud
jlc would make 140, and probably come into the fight at 150-154
i agree with the points by rock, and im also gonna factor in hattons being prone to cuts (even with the plastic surgery)

my money would be on jlc

Hatton was badly cut and the doc didn't remove the vaseline properly b4 stitching him up - every fight after that he split open from a jab.

They opened up the eye and scraped away the hardened vaseline and he has been good (apart from the Maussa head clash) since.

I think Hatton would beat Castillo as he is a more accurate, bigger version of Castillo.

That said, Castillo arguably beat PBF in their first battle and is a hardy veteran and p4p top 10 himself.

I think Ricky would just egde a very explosive exciting battle.
