mayweather knows that if he fights margarito he will lose he wants to keep his 100% record in the welterweight division by fighting people who he knows he can beat and margarito is not one of them

Tony just keeps on worrying about getting PBF too much when atm he isnt high profile enough for Floyd. If he worried about getting PBF in say 3 fights time then he could get some big name fighters under his belt making the fight more publicly wanted.

yea i agree if tony beats 3 good fighters and is well up there for shot at mayweather and mayweather still backs down thats when ur know hes scared but until that dont say hes scared yet

Scared give me a break, he fights guys like Corrales, Castillo, Hernandez but he's scared of Margarito! I wish Floyd would just fight this chump to show how easy it'll be. Margarito's next opponent is supposedly Clottey who many feel is gonna be a big test. Now if Floyd was fighting Clottey next there would be screams off mis-match. That right there shows you just much of a gap in talent there is between Mayweather & Margarito.

without saying any reason for why floyd is "scared" of margarito! you just state it, why would floyd fear him if you can come up with a valid reason then fine, but way i see it is that floyd is undefeated, tony is not, hes talented, but its not like he ever fought all the best, theres not one BIG name on his record, floyd has fought alot of good fighters, i just dont see the reason why people say pbf is scared, jus cos some guy offered him alot to fight him, doesnt mean he deserves a shot at pbf, its just not a big fight for floyd!

I don't know about scared Take this from a guy who can't stand Mayweather but I do respect his skills....I look at Floyd like a smaller version of Roy Jones...A guy who has all the skills one could possible have but doesn't chase the best out there...That doesn't mean he is scared though just that he rather make his money on easier fights...Both Jones and Mayweather fought some tough tough guys then sit and rest on their laurels...They only fight dangerous opp when they absolutly have to....
Thats not scared thats just trying to capitalize on things the easiest way possible

Margarito's scared of every boxer in the Welterweight division BOXER! He won't fight Paul Williams. Or anyone that calls him out. Arum is afraid to let him because he knows his kid would get beat.

Margarito is a few levels below PBF and the only reason people think he is scared of him is because PBF doesn't have the time for him.

In school if you where in Year 4 (the 4th grade to you yanks :P) and some kid in their 1st year or Nursery kept saying they could beat you up, only there reject kid's would be retarded enough to call you scared for not wanting to fight the little snot bag.

Sort of how I see Tony Margarito... Hyped because he swings his arms nad has no defence (exciting for hte fight fans...) and Hyped because PBF haters desperatly need some one to accuse PBF of being scared of who is hard to measure up against Floyd properly because he hasn't fought the same class of opponent!
