    Default LYAKHOVICH-BRIGGS; KLITCHKO-MASKAEV

I'm not sure I care about either of these fights, and Klit-Maskaev is far from a done deal, but here it is:

Boxingtalk.com has been informed that Don King Productions has inked heavyweight contender Shannon Briggs to an exclusive promotional agreement, with an eye towards matching Briggs against WBO heavyweight champion Sergei Liakhovich. Briggs has been in long discussions for a fight with IBF heavyweight champion Wladimir Klitschko, but evidently Briggs grew tired of waiting. Where this leaves Klitschko's November 11 HBO date at Madison Square Garden is unclear at the moment, but newly crowned WBC heavyweight champion Oleg Maskaev now appears to be in the drivers seat to land a coveted fight against Klitschko. Shelly Finkel, Klitschko's advisor is out of the country and unavailable for immediate comment. Briggs attorney, Michael Borao was also unavailable for immediate comment. More to follow.

I much rather see Wlad get his ass kicked by Briggs cause I just dont see maskaev beating him.

Niether of those fights excite me very much. I think Wlad would pick apart Oleg and Lyakhovichwould box Briggs's ears off in the later rounds as long as Briggs doesnt take him out in the first half. I would rather see Briggs/Wlad, cuz you now either way its a nice KO.

Wlad would destroy Maskaev...it would be fun to watch

Briggs can beat Lyakhovich, it's a more interesting fight than Wlad-Briggs.

The best fight for Wlad is a rematch with Brewster or Valuev but since Nicolay is busy with Monte Barrett I say Brock would be a safe fight to have before then

The thing is...the last go round...Brock said that he wasn't ready for Wlad yet.

I don't really have much of a clue who Wlad is gonna get...but they better do something quick...no shit...I'm really REALLY disgusted that King got into the middle of this again.

Have you noticed he always seems to be able to squirm his way into any heavyweight match that matters. Makes me sick!!!! The man has ruined the sport!!!! IMO.
