Thread: Wow... Duddy sucks!

Just saw the fight. Lucky for Duddy he was in the ring with a blown up welterweight!
Any middleweight with power would have KO'd him in round 2.

Great exciting fight. I thought Campas won.
Duddy will NEVER be a top contender

Duddy has some very serious defensive problems

I was stunned at how easily Campos was able to tag him

Duddy fought hard, I was impressed that he had the composure to come back and own 8-11 but besides those four rounds I only gave him the first. The 7th could have gone to Duddy.

Duddy may not be great, but still Yory should get a lot of credit for fighting like that at his age and especially for coming back to dominate the 12th after getting handled from the 8th throught the 11th.

No doubt, Campos deserves credit... It's really one of my favourite situations that arise in boxing, when the old vet can totally own a young prospect who seemingly has every advantage..

Great performance from Yory Boy, I had it 7-5 and like I said the 7th could have gone to Duddy so I couldn't really complain about a draw. The fact that he got a UD with such wide scores on the first two scorecards is really annoying.

Duddy said he went to MSG to find out where he stands, well Duddy IMO you need a lot of road to cover as far as defense don't understand one thing if Duddy was able to out box Campas as he showed in a couple of rds. why didn't he do that from the begining he showed he had better skill then Campas.

About Campas you can't hack him he went out there and fought his heart out, I personally thought after that 9th rd. the fight was gonna be stoped. Campas has lost the snap in his punch but he showed that regardless of that if he lands flush he can hirt you.

The 12th rd. was insane.

But come on 116-112 thats wrong & 117-111 thats just absurd. I would love to see the actual scorecards to see how they scored it rd. by rd.

Doubtful.

Duddy's people probably learned their lesson last night.

Duddy needs to be pitted against some weaker opposition for his rise if you ask me.

Well I hate to hear those reports but I still have faith that John will be a decent boxer...I mean he's no Ray Robinson but he's not a chump.

Better Duddy fight someone decent than let's say ooooooh Brian Reagan

Not at all................ about 1 million to one chance.
That fight alone took out a lot out of Duddy those kind of fights change you as a boxer both physically and mentally.
The last thing they wan't right now is Duddy fighting someone with punching power. Hos next opponents will have something like a record of like 5-12.

Add me to the list no chance in hell for a rematch. Duddy and his people will just act like the first two scores were right and move on.

He has the potential for being in exciting fights but I suspect that his promoters know he has to be looked after and matched very easily.

If he can improve his defence he could be a major player at 160. Duddy has good skills and power it is his lack of defence that is holding him back right now.

....Abraham and Miranda have bad defense too

If it took you this long to figure out Duddy is limited, you must not have been paying attention to Duddy's career or recent fights. Duddy always gets caught.

I'm just impressed he fought back valiantly, came back strong, and then eventually survived. Proves he's a fighter and not a guy looking to make money.
