    Default Boxing - late 20's

People this is my firts post but I have read the forum for a while. I stopped smoking 4 weeks ago and to help me get fit I have started boxing training at 29 after a 13 year lay off. It has been mint to start sparring and the bug is back. The question is, is 29 too old to start amateur fighting again. Most amateurs tend to be late teens / early 20's so I feel like and older bully. I reckon I could be in fighting condition with 3/4 months.

As it worth getting in then ring again competatively or is it time to act my age. Any thoughts appreciated.

Welcome to the forum mate - I am no expert, but would say NO it's not too late if you really wanna do it go for it.

Gonna move this thread into the "Ask The Trainer" section of the site in a little while, you will get lots of good advice in there, but will leave it on the main page for now so people can say hello.
