Default my running routine...is it okaY?

hi ppl. this is my running routine, is it ok?
monday , wednesday, thursday and friday are the days when im at the boxing gym.
by the way when im running im always changing the pace.

    monday- run 4/6 miles

tuesdays- run 4/6 miles...then do some sprints for about 10/15 minutes.

    wednesday-run 4/6 miles

    thursday-run 4-6 miles

    friday-run 4-6 miles

saturday- run 4- 6 miles...then do abit of hillwork for about 10/15 minutes
    sunday REST

when i get home from each of the runs i do 100 push ups and 100 sit ups then i stretch down.
is this a good running workout to keep me fit for boxing? btw im getting enough healthy food and enough sleep.

    thanks

I reckon your doing too much running mate, have another rest day like on wednesday or something, or do swimming or something instead.
Have you just started training or have you been training for ages? because if youve just started then your doing WAY too much.

I would... you can stay active all the time, but doing the same thing day in day out is going to fatigue your body because sooner or later it won't be able to keep up with the increasing demands.

First you're progress will slow, then you'll stay at the same level and then you'll start to decline and burn out.

I know its bad to work the same muscles two days in a row with weights, but is it the same for running. Is it bad to run everyday? I mean i get damned tired, have to will myself through it usually everyday, but i've never seriously injured myself, from running.

Like they said above dont do the same thing everyday, and dont work so much.
Unless your nutrition and rest routines are PERFECT then youll only burn yourself out.

id say run 3 days a week. Then do some sprints on another day, and some skipping on another day.
It will be a lot more beneficial to your boxing game.

fuckin hell mate fair play to ya if you do all that. but haven't you got a job or anything? and i would take another day off in the week if i was you. have saturday off and go out on the town on friday night to relax your self. the benefits would be great on your motivation and you won't get bored with your routine as quickly.

He sounds in his teens if so hes doing far to much. I work with a young elite athlete amongst other things, hes a 800 and 1500 metre runner aged 15, 16 next week We only work 4 times a week , twice a week we will do 4 miles max, the other 2 we work on specifics and variations on certain themes. Its enougth at that age, hes not training to get injured to damage tendons and cartiledge or get stress fractures. Hes training to evolve into a better athlete, his times this year are the most improved in the country by training smart not stupid.

too much lsd running...try interval running , run for a round or a round plus a minute then walk briskly for a minute and then repeat similar to tabata protocol but a bit easier...sprints are good but too many or too many tabata workouts, and you will destroy the muscles you seek to build...
