I didn't realize it was that lopsided in nationality.. I heard Danes are beat by no man.

It is true if you look at the fights in Denmark the boxers that comes over are mostly old drunks that get the S*** beaten out of them.

When the danish boxers then have a record like 25-0-0 they go for the European title first.

They usual claim is bigger to be a European title holder than being a worldchamp, since there only is one Eurochamp and like 6 worldchampions.

Kessler is very talented so he has meet real fighters I have watched many of his fights but he is an exception from a bunch of mediocre fighters

Judging from the compared fights of late with both opponents...it's a hard call to pick a winner.

I've been a fan of Joe much longer than Kess...so I gotta pick Joe...but if I had it my way...I'd get a draw, Joe would retire, & Kessler stays undefeated.

Now if that were to happen...Kess would run the division for quite sometime.

He's got the youth, skills, & abilities to do so.

    Doubtful.

The thing about Kess that many have not caught on to yet...he's never been rocked & he's never been in trouble & he's faced some good boxers & some hard hitters.

Also...no one knows just how Lacy comes out of this Calzaghe beating. He may have Tyson syndrome & people just run over him.

He's pretty plain in that department really Wack, but he is still green enough to develop them.

Kessler is good, but Calzaghe is a far more complete package....

    Calzaghe beats Kessler.

We gotta totally disagree here Adam.

He's nowhere near as fluid with his punches as Joe is...but the kid has skills. What's even better...he's damned accurate with his power shots also. The problem is that he leaves himself wide open after he drops them.

He is barely average at defending whilst keeping inside his opponents range.

He's a good puncher, I'll give him that and he has nice footwork but he definitly doesn't have a lot of boxing skills compared to the other top 160-175 fighters.

Yet he gets hit less than Calzaghe does, against on average better competition, over their respective past 5 fights.
How does he do it without a defence?
He must be a magician then.

His defence is very penetrable....Calzaghe will hit him a lot more than he does Calzaghe....

If this fight comes off kessler will not win without a Calzaghe hand injury...

I so want this fight to come off!!

Funny how his opponents so far have completely failed to exploid that.
In fact i don't think that Kessler has EVER come out of a fight with a cut or a marked face.
He simply doesn't get hit - despite being so wide open as you claim.

For some reason (footwork, control of distance) the opponent's shots always fall short by the width of a hair.
Why is that not good defence?

Now, i know you'll assume Calzaghe wont have the same trouble finding his target. But i'd like to see it before believing it.
