Allright well a little basic info first. One of my friends has been getting really into boxing recently and I think im going to start doing it soon. Although the gym im interested in has around a 1 year waiting period because it is one of the best in new england. I could possibly start a a smaller gym though. Im 15 years old soon to be 16 and am 5"6 and around 120-125 pounds. Im not in that great of shap especially with running but am getting much better. I am going to be training my self at my house for a while and heres a routine I have planned out. Let me know your oppionios and also suggestions are very welcome.
Monday- Stretching first, shadow boxing 4 rounds of 3 minutes, heavy bag 4 rounds of 3 minutes possibly twice in the day, Jump rope 15 mins, breaks as needed, and jog for 15 minutes 3 times through out the day I also may do some stairs. On all days I will use the pads when some one is available to hold them for me. Also every night I will do 100 pushups and situps.
Tuesday- Work out at the YMCA, low weight with reps of around 10 Heavy bag same as bove and again pads if available.
Wednesday- Same as Monday
Thursday- Same as tuesday
Friday- Same as monday
Saturday- Monday work out with also going to the YMCA.
Sunday- Will be a resting day but I may also do some punching.
Please guys I really need some opinions on this. Some diet suggestions would also be prety helpful. Im thinking a big breakfast with carbohydrates eat as many fruits and vegetaables as possible. Im also taking a prety good vitamin and creatine. I drink a lot of milk as well.
