okay nba fans................

today, allen iverson went to 76ers gm billy king and asked to be traded.

this signals a total rebuildng stage for philly



supposedly denver has intrest, can you imagine iverson AND carmello anthony on the same team ? as a clippers fan, that scares the hell out of me

dude it made me cried. a bit
watchin philly w/o him against the wizards
and for long. forever...
but its time for AI to go i suppose. a time for a change
and you know what he was almost traded in 2000 here in motown
that made me hooked and loved him that much
cuz it turned out to be his best season
anyway. MINNEAPOLIS is havin goose bumps

That shit would never work. Iverson and Anthony would be doom from the start. I to am a clipper fan. I say they ship Livingston, Mobley and a 1st round draft pick for Iverson. Brand, Iverson and Maggette on the same team would be scary.

you gotta take the salary cap into consideration, bro

iverson, maggette, cassell, tim thomas, kaman?

thats almost 90 mil right there. they would have to play with like an eight man roster with nothing left but scrubs on the bench. if and when one of those goes out with an injury, than the clips would be fucked (but they would be damn good until that happened)


plus................

im REAL BIG on livingston. that kid has absolute wicked skills, hes still in the early stages of his developing, and he is one of the best point guards in the nba on the break already.

letting livingston go would be a HUGE mistake 2 years down the road, TOPS. it would be a move that reminds me of the clips of old.


i think that maggette doesnt make it another year. hes hating life in L.A. right now coming off the bench in favor of defensive specialist quinten ross

i agree that the timberwolves are also contending for this.

kg and iverson would be great together because imho, they are both entering the twilight of their careers and the time for those two is running out. and both of those guys are as deserving of a ring that havent got one as anybody in the history of the nba.

but what would minnesota have to give up to aquire "the answer" without including garnett?

just about everybody else halfway decent on the team AND a couple of draft picks.



so basically...................... those two alone would have to be enough

the clippers are now front runners for iverson

except the trade would be maggette and livingston for iverson, so i guess i was wrong and theyre making a hell of a run at building a championship team without acknowledging the consequences of the salary cap hell that theyre all gonna be living in, in a few years

I want him in Golden State for a few reasons.

1. He will FINALLY get rid of Dunleavy and maybe even Murphy.
2. Iverson, Monte Ellis and Baron Davis in the same backcourt would be scary.
3. Don Nelson has been dropping clues left and right that he wants Iverson. Yestarday he said..."A dominating team has 3 really good players on it, we're not a dominating team, we only have 2" Nellly + Average Warriors Team = Playoff contender. Nelly + Average Warriors Team + AI = Top 5 seed.
4. I'm going to a game in a few weeks and would love for AI to be in uniform.
