Looks good, I will give 'Brick' a go as soon as I find it.

Well I'll recommend one of my fav. Mexican/Spanish film titled 'Amores Perros' which translates to 'Loves A Bitch'. One of my fav. films to sit down and watch....

Heres a quick review of it:

Sometimes there's a clear reason for dividing a film into distinctive chapters, each following the distinctive but overlapping stories of unrelated people. Here, it feels like the structure has been used largely because no one storyline was long enough to stand alone as a feature film.

When Octavio (García Bernal) discovers that his dog Cofi can kill all-comers in dogfights, he seizes on this to make the money he needs to run away with his brother's wife. At one fight, a rival owner shoots Cofi. On the way to the vet, Octavio jumps a red light.

Next, we follow TV producer Daniel (Álvaro Guerrero), who leaves his family to move in with supermodel, Valeria (Goya Toledo) the other driver involved in the crash. Her leg is crushed and her contracts cancelled. With nothing else to do, she becomes obsessed with trying to find her little dog, Richi, after he disappears through a hole in the floorboards.

Back at the scene of the crash, a tramp cum killer-for-hire and dog-lover (Emilio Echevarría) finds Cofi. He takes him to his squat and nurses him back to health. This relationship helps him come to terms with his revolutionary past and return to society.

With colourful characterisation, fresh and natural performances from a mostly untried cast, and a soundtrack which betrays González Iñárritu's deejaying past, there's a lot to recommend this plus the faint-hearted might find it a little gory.

Here are the only clips I could find of it on YouTube.

When i was talked into watching the divinci code (im an atheist mind you) i kept peaking over at mission impossible III and that poseidon movie and let me give you my drive in review of all three

Divinci code: inspired some good drive back home conversation

Poseidon: some people a boat and a shitload of water

M:I:III: A bunch of explosions and tom cruise without his shirt on.

*I didn't have audio for the latter two so my judgement is based on occasional visual glance overs.

Saw "saw 3" the other night. pretty effing gruesome to say the least! Was good though. I saw the first one but didnt see the second. Went straight to the 3rd one.

There is a couple of real grusome scenes in it though.

I just saw "Feerless" with Jet Li and I must say that is probably the best martial arts movie I have ever seen definately a must see if you into martial art flicks.

Also I just saw Invincible with Mark Walberg and that was pretty good to when I rented it knowing it was a disney movie I didn't have high expectations but it actually turned out pretty good. I recomend both.
    Happy holidays everyone.
