Fair enough bro, remember were talking about his talent in the ring... Not his moral character, Am I condoning his covinction and assault and rape HELL NO!!!!! Its a terrible disgusting and apprehensible thing that should be punishable by casteration... But lets focus on his Boxing ability!

I think also he would have beaten almost anyone around his time... Lennox vs. HIm would have a been a toss up because I think Lennox may have been able to keep away due to size where Byrd couldn't.

Heh, I think Tua won that fight. Just me. I look at that fight and...well the heavyweight division could have been real good because both the Tuaman and Ike were good. With the potential to be great.

was pretty close fight mate i had tua ahead by 1 point after 11 rounds but ike won 12th round and on my scorecard it was draw but it was razor thin either way

    Lennox would have beaten Ike.

When I watched the Byrd fight I saw Ike getting frustrated and condoning to swinging for the fences(until he finally landed one) he also got hit a lot.

And despite how hard Tua hit, I think Lennox hit harder just on his size and his ability to use it, his jab was enough to frustrate Ike.

I think Ike had all the talent in the world, but not the mentality to hold the championship, he would have broken down mentally eventually. It just would have been about 5 more fights down the road in my opinion.

Agreed. I watched that fight at least a dozen times. It was one of the best H.W. fights that I've seen. Although it was very close, I think Tua did enough to get the nod and win.
Ike was a real great talent. It's a shame that he's a mental case and spiraled out of control like that.
