    Default Who next for Mosley?

With shane set to become the WBC WW champion come may, what or who is next for him?

I havn't seen the collazo fight yet, but it sounds like he looked fantastic! but at 35 you can only be looking for the big fights, so whom next?

Should mayweather win, i would think that would be the biggest fight out there for him. If mayweather dosnt retire i would think Shane would be top of his list too...

Cotto: big hitter but i would expect shane to be way to fast for him and most likely stop cotto in the later rounds...

Magrito: well he is always saying he wants the big fights, prolly none bigger than shane at WW right now...

Hatton; If he was willing to move up, i would think mosley would lvoe to have this fight.

I would like to see him against Margarito, Cotto or the winner of the PBF: DLH fight...all intriguing fights on their own merits...

Hatton should stay out of the 147 picture for the time being and try and build some form of his own...

I don't see Mosely having any chance at all of stopping Cotto, winning he's definitely got a great chance but he won't stop Cotto.

Cotto has only ever looked in trouble a couple of times in his career and both times managed to remain composed under pressure. I think stories about his suspect chin are way over exagerrated.

Him and Mosely would fight a 12 war, same as against Margarito, De La Hoya or Mayweather.

At this point I'd rather see Mosley fight Mayweather then De La Hoya.

I doubt we shall see Mosley De La Hoya and Mosley Floyd is a long time away,Shane will fight again in May I have heard,I'd love to see him v Cotto or Tony but neither fight will be easy to make due to the friction between Top Rank and GBP,so I'm not sure what Mosley can do. If Cintron can get his legal issues resolved, thats certainly a fight which can be made and an intriguing one imo. Cintrons power against Shane's speed and power would mesh well.

Mosley's speed would be way too much for Hatton. It wouldn't even be close.
Mosley could take one hell of a shot so I see Hatton trying to press hader and harder and gassing himself. Whereas Mosley could go the 12 rounds at a consistent pace.
TKO ref stoppage in a one sided fight.

Same with Margarito. I am not sold on Margarito yet. I've always said I think his fans want him to be more of a threat than he actually is. Because he hasn't really done anything yet, he's this great hope in the shadows. He's not quick enough for Shane. And his punches are much too looping that even if he does land, someone like Shane will see them coming and be able to roll the punches at least a littleand avoid too much damage. UD for Mosley.

Of those three, Cotto would be the closest fight to me.
I still say Mosley's quicker hands should win him this fight. But Cotto's vicious body attacks just might be able to wear him down for the later rounds. Because I don't think Shane would knock him out, it'd be a grueling 12 rounds for him.
I say Cotto presses hard near the end but too little too late. Mosley in a closer decision.

Yeah, who knows? Cotto or Margarito, Floyd, they'd all be great to see, but I doubt either of them are NEXT for Mosley, as they are basically all preoccupied. I don't know what's going on with Cotto vs Margarito, is that still supposed to happen?? If not then yeah either of those 2 would be great, but they still both fight in march. Maybe if he can't get one of the three he could take on Zab Judah and end his comeback prematurely.. That would be nice to see. Is it for certain that MOsley is set to become the WBC WW champ?? I don't really understand, you mean he'll fight in an eliminator for it? Or it's just being gift wrapped for him..

from what i understand, now he is the interim WBC champ, as soon as floyd get sin the ring with oscar it means he has vacated it and there for mosley becomes the real wbc champ...

Fair enough I guess.. Would have liked to see him in an eliminator but Collazo was probably highly ranked by the WBC..

    I think shane would stop/Ko cotto;

althought cotto is better at 17 than he was at 140, torres had him in all sorts of shit and shane is classes above him, i dont think cotto has the great of a chin, shane can bang and his speed will be enough to stop cotto imo

Getting caught the way Shane did I wouldn't be so quick to say he'd spank Cotto.

I think Miguel is very well suited at 147, he's able to fight longer and keep up his pace better at 147.

Shane Mosley should fight Judah if he's wanting Mayweather next...the speed Judah has is very good and if IF Zab comes to fight it would be a good one.

Anyone else hate the Mayweather Jr interview at the end of the fight "Oh he's just a Golden Boy fighter, he's trying to jump on the bandwagon and blah blah blah"....I want Oscar to break Floyd's face

I'd like to see Mosley fight Judah or Cotto next. Of those two, Judah is the much more likely fight to be made. Cotto is great, but he isn't ready for Mosley, I dunno if he would ever be ready for Mosley. Miguel slams those body shots, but Mosley is damn near KO proof, faster, and the better boxer, so Cotto would be outboxed. If Cintron is ready by June, then that too could be a very interesting fight. So hopefully Judah or Cintron is next for Mosley.

Mosley-Cotto is fooking mouth watering!! Love to see that!! Really not sure who takes it tho.... I think Shane would decision Hatton if he came up but would be a cracker aswell! God Shane's thrown himself back into the mix aint he!

Well Shane is getting up there in age and we all saw Vargas had a good moments pressuring Shane....Cotto is a good strong fighter and he'd give Shane a good hard run....he doesn't have the "style" that beats Shane.....Margarito and Williams has that if they shorten up their punches.

Cotto is too young right now...I'd like to see Miguel fight Collazo honestly
