that fight was mint. a proper tear up and cant really argue with earls corners decision. he was taking a lot of punishment.

I doubt there will be a better fight than that this year.

That was better than Hagler Hearns imo.

He was taking a lot of punishment, true. But he still seemed to be firing back with quite a lot himself. If the ref had stopped it Id be saying it was premature but the corner knows their man and if they say hes had enough I wont argue.

i think we witnessed somethin special tonight. they were landing evrey shot in the book on each other and for the most part of the fight it could have gone either way and anything could have hapened.

To be fair Hagler and Hearns were quite tasty That was a poor mans Hagler Hearns.

Great fight, Not sure what else Earl can give, he looked out of sorts last time and he couldnt avoid ANY of the punches tonight. Katsidis was strong and kept coming but he was very limited. How the Duke called them both well schooled I dont know.

Great scrap though.

I rank that in the top 5 fights i've ever seen along with castillo v corrales and hagler v hearns for excitement, because the ref threw the towel out of the ring, that turned it from a great fight, into that other level with that controversy, Earl looked like he'd spent 10 of his 9 lives than bam he lands a right hand. Unbelivable.

I just finished DL all the fights from the UK and gonna watch them tonight.....

Cracking fight and up there with some legendary wars imo for sure.

Earl seemed dazed still a long time after it finished to me and even sounds a little punchdrunk.
Maybe he should call it a day but he still has belts to defend
Corner did the right thing imo.
Would love to see Katsidis in with Mitchell or Khan later this year

katsidis - earl: if they were wearing reyes gloves and not pillows it was over in the first round.
