Just in case anyone hasn't got round to watching this one yet.

Ali won ! He did it ! Can't believe it - stayed on the ropes from third round onwards , soaking up the bombs and taking the fight right out of George.

He came off the ropes with a flurry of punches in 8th and kayoed Forman - incredible !

What a fight, what a man !

I can't believe it!!! Those ropes were incredibly loose though, if it wasn't for those ropes who knows what could have happened. Foreman should have known better and should have paced himself, what a dope. Ali roped a dope. Hey I just made that up, I'm going to trademark it.

I can't wait to see whats next for Ali, I would love to see him fight Joe Frazier in the future, it would be a great fight IMO. Could you imagine the spectacle a fight like that would be?

don't see point in a third fight with Frazier.

Let's face it - all true boxing fans know it would be a poor fight and a real snoozeathon if they met again.

What a fight that was, I thought for sure BIG GEORGE (thats what I like to call him) would catch Ali but I was wrong....


I don't think loosing to Ali will be the end for him, as last night after seeing the fight I had a dream that BIG GEORGE won the fight but he hit Ali with a frying pan, and I woke up sweating. I'm meeting with BIG GEORGE and his people tomorrow as I think BIG GEORGE should make his own brand of frying pans.... Wish me luck....

And I agree why would Ali wanna fight Frazier again?

I am hearing rumors that the 3rd fight Ali - Frazier fight will also be held in a small country/place. That's preposterous!!! Why would they want to do the biggest fight of the decade in a place no one knows (like Zaire??!!!!!). I can just read the headlines : King Kongs in Hong Kong, Titans in Afghanistan, Fantasia in Malaysia, Rockos in Morocco, Big Hands in Thailand, Thrilla in Manila. . . bwhahahahahahhahahahahahahah never in a million years hahahhahahahah

I hear he's taking on some no-namer named Chuck Wepner next.
What a waste of time. Shows how big a draw Ali is. With celebs like Sylvester Stallone still shelling out money to watch this.
