Thread: Cuban Defectors...?

Remember a month or two ago those Cuban gold medalist boxers escaped from a training facility in Venezuela? What ever happened to them? They were missing at the time the report came out and I haven't heard anything since. What happened?

Yes, and rampant consumerism so Wal-Mart, Tesco and Macdonalds drive all local businesses bankrupt. A free market economy that means the rich get richer, the poor get poorer and everyone gets taxed more, the scrapping of the world class healthcare system in Cuba, the poor people's homes getting bulldozed to create trashy resorts for American tourists to sit in two weeks a year, a meltdown of the existing (but certainly not perfect) society leading to a rise in violent street crime, a proliferation of organised crime and a large scale money laundering operation by the US and Russian mafias, a surge in obesity .......... and the end of the Cubans as the greatest boxing nation on earth.

A world class healthcare system , what a laugh, They have a terrible health care system and are so impoverished because of their communist dictator stealing all the money. Free market economies are the only way to alleviate poverty. Free market economies have pulled more people out of poverty than either charity or communism/socialism combined.
