Thread: Roy Jones vs Jermain Taylor

did anybody else hear about this as a possilble fight. i know i can't the only one that heard about this. i don't know what weight it would be at. What if Jones beat Taylor.wouldn't that be some shit. Jones can't beat tarver hopkins beat tarver. Hopkins can't beat Taylor Jones beats Taylor.

I pick Jones now and a prime Jones Taylor is'nt that good

it hurts me to say it but for some reason i think taylor would beat Jones

I really doubt it would happen, but I think it depends what kind of Roy Jones shows up.

Taylor hasn't be able to bully smaller men and drops his guard all the time... even now Jones would have him... depends if it's at 175 or if not depends wether Jones can do 160 or 168 any more...

jones always has his guard down and he not as slick as he used to be. taylor does have a habit of leaning forward to much on his front foot. i thought both Hopkins and Winky would exploit that habit.

Jones has the type of style where he can drop his hands... Taylor doesn't in my opinion.

i don't think in this stage in his career he should be dropin his hands. its fundamental things that roy seems to have long forgotten that are hurtin him right now. it also the fundamentals that allow old guys like hopkins and toney keep competeing late in there career.
