Has anyone seen him box? Is he any good?
Has anyone seen him box? Is he any good?
For every story told that divides us, I believe there are a thousand untold that unite us.
Even in Germany his fights aren't shown...at least I haven't seen him fight yet,
but this will change today...his fight against Alejandro Berrio for the vacant
IBF Super Middleweight Title will be shown at prime time and I will watch it...
So I can tell you later what I think about him...
His record looks pretty solid though...

He's the fighter with a perfect record that nobody has ever heard of that Joe Calzaghe ducked in order to face a TV fighter more people have heard of with a poorer record.
Yea I was really wondering about him too.. All I know is what I've read, that when he first fought Berrio last year he was behind on all cards(in Germany) before the fight was apparently questionably stopped BY THE JUDGES() in the 11th round.. Berrio was a considerable underdog for the rematch in the sportsbook so I picked him... Not at all confident though as I didn't see the first fight.. Im guessing noone has?
He's pretty good, still no huge win on his record, and most likely won't move out of Germany, it's unfair to say Calzaghe ducked him because no one knows who the hell he is, and in my mind hasn't beatne anybody as good as Joey Spina. He was excellent vs Berrio but has been inactive for a long time and only faught a guy who has lost his last 6 since, in October. He'll never be a world champion IMO, but a great "european" champ. A safety first, protected 29-0, has faught even less class that Hatton in his first 29.
Remember the good old days, we miss you Marco!
Cheers dude for the heads up.Originally Posted by JohnnyKickAss

3-Time SADDO PREDICTION COMP CHAMPION.
What the f--- are you talking about? Stieglitz won easily every single round in the first fight - also on the judges score-cards. If I remember correctly Berrio got one or two draw rounds that was all.Originally Posted by p4pking

Just shows what a joke the IBF are. Calzaghe ducked this joker. Someone who has noone on his record. Their title holder will be someone who hasn't earned a shot.
Calzaghe fough Lacy...won...and has been punished for not taking this mandatory mug!
IMO...you have to earn your shot at a title! Beat the best on the way up and when HBO or any of the big boys want to show the fight, then you've earned your shot!
Where's the fooking sense!!!
wow, Calzaghe fought Lacy....who cares about that bum? He is nothing but an America smw dream. He is NOT a grade A class boxer.Originally Posted by BubbleBox
Stieglitz would kill Lacy. He is a typical eastern boxer with very good condition and fundamental boxing skills. First he would outbox Lacy and then most likely stop him late as he has more power than Calzaghe.
Robert is a top 5-6 smw of the world but as most eastern he is not looking impressive as he has that eastern amateur style.
Barrio was comming on and had Steiglitz hurt and his eyes closing when he got caught and just like that, it was over. Naco either knocks you out or he gets knocked out. I aw him fight YTusess Mack and he destroyed him. Monster power and glass jaw...which makes for pure excitement. I am predicting a ko win over Steiglitz who is also pretty damn good. In fact, he would be a perfect fight for Roy Jones, Jr.
Naco also likes to plant kisses on his oponents head before knocking them out. I swear it!![]()

I said I hadn't seen the fight, but I read that when it was stopped Berrio was ahead on all cards.. Could be wrong but I doubt it, seems like you just have your own agenda with regards to SteiglitzOriginally Posted by Main Partner
CC, thanks for the real info, do you remember if Berrio was up on the cards when it was stopped or anything though?Originally Posted by Ted The Bull
I don't recall but I think Stieglitz was ahead.
