I think Joe will give him a bit of a beating in the early rounds and stop him between 6-9.

Saying that if JC fights in an agresive but controlled way he could stop him in 1 or 2 rounds.

But Joe will win without a dout..

Tysonbruno unless you have a plan to drop Joe Superstar a mikey or some performance debilitating chemical I don't see this happening.

It's a god awful fight. Manfredo was/is a small middle weight and joe is a big super middle. Would you give peter a snowball in hells chance against Lacy? Fuck no!

This fight won't go past 5 rounds. It's a clever ploy by warren to have a calzaghe fight on HBO with alot of people watching.

The fight should never have been made.

you're delusional. Manfredo is finally at a good weight for him. 160 was way too small and now with Roach and the extra weight/strength in his corner who knows what might happen. Deep down I think Joe C will win, but with those glass hands anything could happen.
It feels good to be back home.

    delusional?

Do you think manfedo would be any kind of a match for jeff lacy?

The only thing manfredo has going for him if JC underestimates him and doesn't train very hard nd just show boats through the fight. Even then I think JC would beat him with ease.

Yes, Manfredo would be a hell of a match for Lacy. I'm not sure who I would take in that fight. Lacy is jacked and he can hit, but he has no skill. Manfredo has fewer physical tools, but he has much more skill.

    Joe C. wins, UD 117-111

Actually, I'd pick Manfredo to put a man-sized azz whipping on Lacy. Peter will do better than Lacy did. Even if he gets KTFO, he won't get embarrassed over 12 like Lacy did.

As far as physical tools, have you seen Manfredo at SMW? The boy is diesel. I saw him fight on ESPN before the Contender and I said to myself, that kid is way too big to be fighting at 154. Even in the first contender fight against Gomez, he didn't look like himself. His eyes were sunken into his head, and he looked like he'd been on a week-long crack binge. He was killing himself to make 158, much less 154. The whole JMW idea was his dad's because he thought Peter was too short to deal with 6 foot middleweights. Well Spina and Pemberton proved he can get inside on tall SMW's.

He claims he was so dehydrated during the contender he went into the first Gomez fight, and the Gilbert fight seeing double. As someone who has cut weight before, let me assure you, it can happen.

I'm with you about the weight thing for Peter, but I still don't think he has the physical gifts of Lacy. He's pretty solid at SMW, but Lacy is a beast. That being said, I'll take the guy skill anytime over the guy with the strength, assuming they are close to same size. I've seen both both his fights at SMW and I like him better at that weight.
