Thread: terry norris vs thomas hearns the most exciting fight ever ??

this would be better than hagler and hearns imo what do you guys think ??

My thinking is that Hearns was too good and his chin was not that suspect but Norris chin was. Hearns chin was not dependable in long fights, but usually it held up since he fought alot of legends. Remember he took Hagler's best in that round one. I doubt Terry could have taken Hagler's best since Terry was rocked with a Simon Brown left jab. My guess is that the chin of Terry falls apart and Tommy gets a 2nd or 3rd round knockout.

i agree but what a thriller it would be while it lasted two men with suspect chins who can bang always will be exciting fight and i think both men would be wobbling around ring like a jelly

Norris was exciting for sure but he is to small to cope with Tommy an easy 1 round KO for the HITMAN

I do not think Terry could deal with Hearns at all but I really like Terry. I think he legitimetely was a great fighter. He fought them all at 154 and had a great record. His chin was his weakness but his heart was amazing. I think he is in the top 10 at 154 ever.

Yes Terry was a top exciting fighter thrill a minute win or loose , wasnt scared to fight all commers !! which makes a change

Hearns by early KO. Norris was the truth but his chin would give up before his will.

I think Hearns would take 2 out of 3 fights between them. With all 3 ending by knock out. Hearns was the bigger hitter and bigger fighter. But Norris was clearly faster. His hand speed alone would cause Hearns trouble. I think both there chins were equally weak.

Norris was a terrific fighter, that fight with Waters is one of the best ever! Hearns though is a differant thing altogether.. Hearns by 5 or 6

If its the Norris that blasted Mugabi out in one round he could give Hearns a tough fight

I've always dreamed of Tyson-Tua. It would be impossible for that fight to have disappointed.
