Default ***Takefumi Sakata vs. Lorenzo Parra*** (Spoiler)

Sakata has TKO'ed Parra in the rd. round.......

He attacked the body early on and in the second round and Parra was tired out by then. When the bell rang to start the 3rd round, Parra stayed on his stool and the fight was halted 14 seconds into the round.

Wow!! I didn't see this coming....

Sakata wins the WBA Flyweight title, and has to make his 1st defense against Roberto 'La Arana' Vasquez whos the 'interim' champ....

Remember El Gamo I told you that the injury was crucial and he wouldn't be the same? I had a gut feeling about that when your off for that long on a injury like that it's really hard to jump right in to World Class competion...

Without his knee being 100% he can't completely plant himself and therefor his shots will not come off the same as before....

IMO, I really doubt if he'll get back into the same level of competion this very well might be a career ending injury.... Thats just too bad cause he was a very damn! good fighter.....

All that road warriering. Fighting in his opponents back yard all the time was going to catch up to him some time. What was he doing fighting Sakata for a third time? Considering he owned 2 victories over him already

CC Mick, great call. Sad to see but I think not only the injury but the weight draining too worked against him. I mean he weighed in waaaaaaaaaaaaay over the limit but for some reason, the fight went on. I'm going to watch the fight later.

It has no relevence, him losing. He was injured and weight drained. Still does not explain why Parra called Vic out and Vic didn't do anything. Parra, injury free, would beat Vic's unskilled ass from pillar to post.

I severely doubt that, all these guys on here talking up Parra will do this Parra will do that, goes to everyones backyard. Injury or not the dude got KTFO!!! That's the facts!

Darchinyan would have destroyed Takafumi & will do if they meet.

Takafumi is a tough guy but he won't stand up to Vic. I'm sure the time of affected Parra & I know he's got skills, but he ain't what all you think! Like I've said all along... the best fighter he beat was Morel & he caught him @ the right time! Can anyone say overrated?

The best fighter Vic has beat is Irene Pacheco. An inactive champion Vic also caught at the right time.

Pacheco was indeed inactive but it doesn't distract from the fact that he's got mad skills!

What you gonna say when he defeats Gonzales?

Vic won the early rounds, then Pacheco won the middle rounds. There was then a 10 minute interval as fireworks were gloing off near the outdoor arena. Not Vics fault. Then was the fight resumed Pacheco lost it, he started hitting low & ended up losing 2 points. Vic dropped Pacheco at the end of the 10th thanagain in the next round when the ref stopped it. Vic would have won easy on the cards but he didn't have to cause he knocked Pacheco the f*ck out!!!

I don't really see your point, a lot of fights are close, the facts here are Vic K.O.'d Pacheco. End of story!!!

Gonzalez is going to walk right through Pacheco. Pacheco's inactivity and age have already caught up to him. Did you see his last fight? I don't mean looking at boxing rec either. I mean the actual fight. It is a joke that he got a SD win. A disgrace. He flat out lost the fight.

Nah I didn't see his last fight never said I did! But I did see him beat Ruiz pretty clearly! I still think Pacheco out slicks Gonzales.

Put it this way. Pacheco was almost knocked out in the 11th round. He was completely dominated the whole fight. Yet 2 of the judges decided to still give him the fight. Them 2 judges were ban for life from judging. That's how bad it was. Pacheco was a skilled fighter. But his time has passed. Gonzalez will sadly destroy him.
