Unbeaten ex-WBA light-fly champ, WBA#1/WBC#3 flyweight Koki Kameda (14-0, 10 KOs), 112, decked his first bout since renouncing his WBA 108-pound belt to move up to the 112-pound category, as he dropped WBC#12 Mexican Everardo Morales (28-12-3, 20 KOs), 112.5, in the fifth and pounded out a unanimous decision (97-92, 97-93 and 99-91) over ten heats on Saturday in Tokyo, Japan.

Well done for him I'm sure Violent Demise will be happy to hear Kamedas doing well....
Maybe he can go after Sakata in a all Japan fight.....
I would like to see Kameda step up slow and face Mayol if Kemada can get past Mayol he should go after Sakata in a all Japan World Champ. fight....

The move up in weight was a smart move. He's a young fighter who's still growing. He'll be moving up again pretty soon. Kameda is an outstanding young fighter. I don't even consider him a prospect any more. His poise is that of a veteran fighter. The best of him is yet to come.
