Should be starting just about now.
thanks,.... i alreadyposted it...........
what you think about jim rock,... thats about the best ive seen him
Opening bout of this one was Dublin wideboy Jim Rock against Szabolcs Rimovsky. Good two-round by KO by Jim Rock, who took the fight at short notice, stepping up to SMW for the first time, and looked good. JAbs from Rock dominated the first, but as it got scrappy in the second, a clubbing right from Jim 'The Pink Panther' Rock finished the Hungarian. Rock looked a bit fleshy, and not a natural SMW, but finished well.
Only his 9th KO in a career of 40+ fights.
Quote of the evening: "Jim is pumping that jab out there into the face, particularly the face of his opponent."
Damn I really wish my internet wasn't so slow. Are you by any chance doing a RBR?
Sorry mate, didn't see it on the first page of posts when I put mine up earlier on. Rock beat my man Alan Jones a while ago, but i agree that he looked pretty sharp, and finished the guy off well, considering how his record looks.Originally Posted by roflan
I'll do some updates, but with it being streamed i can't realy be bothered with a RBR. I'm not convinced it'll go on too long anyway.Originally Posted by amat
Cool stuff CC in 24. I need Dunne to win by KO in a big way. Only 11 points thus far in the prediction contestOriginally Posted by superheavyrhun

They're going through the previews at the moment, and as well as announcing all the soccer and rugby players, and boyband members in the crowd, they also showed a clip of Jailauov against Michael Hunter, and he hangs that left down a lot like Carl Froch. Then again, I still reckon Dunne will make short work of him.
Round 1:
Bernard Dunne dominating so far, popping the jab and throwing hooks to the body when he comes inside. Caught Jailauov when he tried to throw some leather, and then Bernard Dunne replying with some sharp right hooks upstairs.
Dominant so far from Dunne.
Round 2:
Dunne being pretty lacksadaisical, doing by far the more accurate work, and connecting with a few hard left hooks.
Round 3:
Dunne catches him with a good right hook then pounces on him, with some huge shots, and a left uppercut that would have taken the head off many men. Ref gives him the 8 count, and lets them get back at it. As Dunne piles in with vicious hooks, the ref warns Jailauov for ducking in, but 3 hooks later, the ref has no choice but to step in. Very impressive finish from the Irishman.
CC for the link. Smooth stream.
Missed my prediction by a round![]()
Me too, i'd picked Dunne in 2, but he was a little lazy....could've finished him in 2 if he really wanted too.Originally Posted by BoxingGorilla

When God said to the both of us "Which one of you wants to be Sugar Ray?" I guess I didnt raise my hand fast enough
Charley Burley
Ok that's a relief.
Seen Dunne a few years ago in San Jose and wasn't really impressed and didn't really expect to be hearing much from him but he has made quite a name for himself now. You think he can possibly contend for a major belt?
