Thread: sprott and skelton come face to face on friday

Heavyweight contenders Matt Skelton and Michael Sprott will come face to face at a press conference tomorrow.

The pair will be in Skelton's home town of Bedford to promote their fight on May 26 at London's ExCeL Arena.

Sprott earned an unexpected chance to challenge the Commonwealth heavyweight champion when he knocked out Audley Harrison in February at Wembley Arena.

Now he will be looking for revenge against the man who stopped him in the final round of a British title fight back in 2004.

Meanwhile Skelton, who has been out since the summer with a hand injury, is keen to cement his position as Britain's number one and push on and challenge for a world title at some point this year.

I think Skelton will do a number on Sprott this time
